We seem to have bought this 20 year old Colombian attacking midfielder from Marbella FC and loaned him back to them for next season. They play in Segunda B, Group 4. https://www.transfermarkt.com/juergen-elitim/profil/spieler/607057 Source; https://twitter.com/Acedotor/status/1156607844046835712?s=20
Francisco Acedo @Acedotor El @marbella_fc ha llegado a un acuerdo con el @WatfordFC para la cesión del jugador #Juergen Elitim, quien quedará vinculado a la entidad hasta el próximo 30 de junio 2020
Good to know the club have got their transfer priorities sorted. The next Jaime Alvarado. Will never play for us.
Now official His registration was transferred to Watford from Granada before the Pozzo's sold the club. Another player Watford owned and no one knew anything about.
No umlaut, Germans are sticklers for this sort of thing. Probably Columbian with a Dutch/Belgian ancestral name being handed down. Probably need to do a full family tree or get him on Who Do You Think You Are episode to really understand it. Must have been confusing for the lad though so maybe he found football an escape from such questions from him peers. Jurgo needs no explanation, or Prof if he once read a book. Happy to be corrected.
Very happy with the Pozzo regime, but not entirely comfortable with the trading in young players who will not only not play for Watford, but may not even visit our training ground.
I'm sure the showed him a picture or maybe two of the training ground. What more do you want Mr Negative?
Aren’t we all, essentially, bags of sh1t who will never play for WFC? I like his Everyman vibe. But maybe one for Burnley.
Well I’m off to bed feeling really miserable now. RD has pointed out I am nothing but a sack of s h I t who will never play for the team I love. Even Albert McClenaghan played for WFC.
Ah, you may be right. Maybe it is a southern conial trait to drop the umlaut when used in the more latin based native languages, that would explain it. Either way, welcome Jurgen, I look forward to reading details of your future loans moves and eventual release.
Good question, do we know if we actually pay these guys who never seem to play any football or is it a 'you will need to pick this seasonal fruit for the next 5 years to pay off your fare over' type of modern slavery deal?
Marbella?! First Sarr and Lukebakio, and now this guy! What is it with players we're linked to buggering off on holiday and never coming back?
I get this point but I am quite happy with the way they operate, if we makes 50 million from the likes of Suarez, Hernandez and Estupinan then it's brilliant business and will leave the club in a better shape.
