FA Cup - The Road To Wembley - We Made it to The Final

I recall last time they released tickets in batches, so people were logging in, seeing all tickets sold in some blocks, only for that block to all appear on sale three days later.

 

Man, it's going to a day trippers paradise. No wonder we always lose at ******* Wembley.

 

I think that's 5,800 you can see as for some unknown reason they issue them in blocks so you are often left with the choice of poorer seats & then the next day seats that were not showing available suddenly are...they are a complete shambles

 

I'm pretty sure that's what they did in 2013. Someone I knew got their better positioned tickets having booked many days after I'd got mine.

 

The ticket website says “Powered by Ticketmaster”. I think they may be powering it with a ZX Spectrum. 16K....

 

And in answer to the "ring Ticketmaster" suggestion, it is permanently engaged.

Ticketmaster are a complete joke...currently 60 minutes waiting time. Was vainly hoping things had improved over last 3 years technology wise.

 

Finally got tickets, but could not assign tickets to my children's fan IDs

Same this time. But got 4 tickets, so all is well.

Likewise. Only allows assigning to ST holders. I suppose that makes the 2 per ST holder a bit more reasonable - me and my mate's kids, both ex ST, are at uni but coming back for this.

 

Got through right to the 'confirm everything' button, clicked it and it's thrown me back to the ******* grey circle again.

 

Hamster is either asleep or dead at the moment.

 

Died of a heart attack. Was employed on a zero hours contract and couldn't keep up the pace....

 

Still no dice here an hour and a half on.

The trouble with these things is human behaviour leads people to all pile in from the very start and likely on multiple devices at once. It's that or all queuing halfway down Vicarage Road again like in '99 (and no doubt '84).

Just bought mine...so a total of 1hr50mins...pathetic.
A couple of hints: ignore the "remaining time" wheelie....mine was stuck at the "20 mins left" position for almost an hour & then without any further movement I was on the Log-in page.
Scroll down to the box at the bottom right for the cup tickets
And you don't have long for your purchase to go through & be confirmed...only about 2 minutes from when you click to pay, so if your connection speed is slow, watch out.

 

1 hour 37 minutes after logging on, tickets bought. I think I preferred queuing up Occupation Road. Bring back Ron Rollitt

I just logged on and got 6 tickets straight away. Took less than 5 minutes.

 

Which suggests the "queue" is not a queue at all, but a random spin of the wheel to see who gets through first.

 

How many season ticket holders do we have?

 

It shouldn't be beyond the wit of Ticketmaster to have some plans in place to handle the initial surge...

It was always a great feeling the moment when you finally got that ticket in your hand. Mind you i was in a queue of one to get my 84 cup final ticket.. handed to me on Charlie Palmers doorstep!

 

It was very, very easy for me - not sure of the issues people are having. I suggest we have user issues here not platform issues.

I bet those having trouble are of the somewhat older variety.

 

I guess their answer would be if you want to pay say £5 a ticket (or even more) in admin fees they'd make as many servers available as needed. There's always a balance to be struck.
