This is happening guys .... ITK ers have just snapped him arriving at London Colney for medical. Looks a bit older than 25 though. fml
Just had to convince him that Britain is now as hot as Spain used to be. He is no doubt already aware that Spain is now as hot as the Sahara.
Phil Spencer says we are 'still negotiating'.... https://www.football.london/watford...-transfer-barcelona-14982102#comments-section
That’s the easy job. Convincing him of the positives of Whippendell Road and Market Street May be more challeng8ng
A quick look at the BBC August transfers shows very little happening in the Premiership, so we are not alone at least.
The Tozser deal was even more unusual, if I remember correctly, in that the team loaning him to us were loaning him from another club specifically so they could loan him to us. Could be wrong.
Think Burnley have been busy last 3 days. One of our relegation rivals. Picked up a good, yet "previously unproven in the prem" striker.
It turns out I've either not really been paying attention or I've a very bad memory. Thanks to those who've pointed out multiple year loans are quite common. Now if you don't mind I'm going to scroll through the Iranian language pages on Google to see if WFC are interested in any players from there.
Probably me saying we were safe after the Chelsea game, although I maintained that all the way through Bro
Dani Parejo is reportedly set to sign for Barcelona, as it's unlikely they'll get Pogba..... no mention of it, but I wonder if the deal includes Alcacer going the other way?
He is a midfielder so don't really see why that would have any impact, but regardless that was fake news that the newspaper posting has since deleted. He was actually training in Valencia all day (). On the other hand there have been a decent number of reports stating that Valencia are extremely close to signing Kevin Gamiero which would solve their striker issue (http://www.marca.com/en/football/spanish-football/2018/08/06/5b685962268e3ef73f8b45a6.html). I could be proved wrong, but think Southampton and Leicester are our main competition on this one.
Possible shenanigans with our Ward-Prowse bid earlier today? Southampton suddenly linked to Alcacer this morning. We seemingly out of the blue bid for Ward-Prowse on the proviso we pull out of the Alcacer deal.
I'm getting to the point of being past caring and accepting of the fact that we are, unbelievably, probably not going to sign any striker, let alone Alcacer.
