Christ they are bare bones looking at them. I'd imagine they will park the bus and try and hit us on the counter. They played 343 against Brighton and were torn apart with ease. They will probably sign Steven Pienarr and Darren Gibson before our game with Anchebe on the bench. Hoping for a repeat of last season without the aggro in the stands.
Absolute scenes when Deeney scored just before half time! That metal bridge thing between the concourse and the seats became a bit deadly with the West Ham fans throwing things over. Should smash 'em, Gracia the tactical genius will lead us to an easy 4-0 victory and we'll be to 9th. Europa Cup here we come! -2 handicap at 20/1 is basically printing money.
1-1. Deeney (pen) followed by him running the length of the pitch to moon in front of our fans and assault several small children in the front row (Troy, if you're reading this, it's just a joke mate ).
Wonder if he'll change things at all? 3-4-1-2 or whatever it was looked good the other night. Holebas gives us a bit of balance with a left footer at the back, and it takes defensive responsibility off Janmaat and Zeegelaar. I assume Gray for Deeney will be an enforced change
First test for Gracia where we actually go into a game with a bit of form and confidence. Get a win and it's nice little gap again. Get beat and it's forum meltdown again...
I think its quite a big pitch isn't it ? The thought of the pace of Gray, Richie and Depardieu on the break is pretty mouthwatering. Gray might be a better option than TD anyway for that reason.
If the posts on the Deeney Ban thread are correct in that the FA Disciplinary Panel only discuss stuff on a Monday then Deeney will be available for this game before any possible action. Seems a strange way of doing things but time will tell!
West Ham 0 Watford 5. Deeney hat trick. Richarlison and Deulofeu compounding the 'ammers misery. Moyes subsequently attacked and killed by enraged cockneys with bloodshot eyes.
...and a knees-up on the pitch by the Horns fans after the game forcing the players to walk around them to leave the pitch.... oh sorry, that was Gillingham away in 1969- same 0-5 scoreline though - all goals in second half.
....not after Shrek 2. If she really want to go and see "kids films" she now goes on her own. Likewise if she suggested seeing Kings**t 2 or whatever its called.
I forget. Perhaps its was 3 not 2 (don't ask me what the storyline was - presumably they are all the same) or perhaps it was the sitting with a cinema full of 10 year olds + my wife.
The worst movie ever is Children of the Living Dead. It's so bad, it'll actually make you angry that it was ever released, and that the actors and others involved actually finished making the crappy, sorry mess of a film. I don't think there's a worse movie out there.
First time I've actually looked forward to a match in aaaaaages. Which means we'll lose. West Ham 1-0 Watford Holebas (deliberate og 90+6); Deeney (sent off 4), Holebas (sent off 90+6), Cleverley (missed pen 90+9)
Can the living dead actually have children then? Wouldn't the essential 'tools for the job' have already rotted away? Well you should now! Anyway good to see this matchday sub-thread up and running. Sh.te films wot we have been subjected to. And it should confuse the Cro-Magnons down in docklands no end.
Of course there is, every single film involving Liam Neeson or Nic Cage for a start off. ******* Liam Neeson, what ****** believed that he'd be a good action hero? There are bits of jelly in my cat's food that are harder than him.
Quite liked Shrek 2, worst film I’ve ever seen was Housebunny or Lederhosen zombies. As for the game, a win here, which I believe we will get, and we are pretty much safe bar an incredible sequence of results. Richarlison to end his drought with a couple.
Suddenly feeling optimistic West Ham United 1-3 Watford. The Hammers were poor in their last game and 3-1 did not flatter BHA they dominated West Ham. I am hoping that Arnoutivic is till out for them which will be a big a bonus for us as he has been on fire for them. If our midfield are on it we should be able to dominate the middle of the park against what is an average at best West Spam midfield in my opinion. Nice big pitch so will be space for the likes of Deulofeu and Richy.
Managed to get an away ticket so can sit with Watford supporters and gave away the home ticket to bloke at work (expensive waste and lesson learned) I'm not gonna predict a score or a result here I thought at least four points from stoke, Chelsea, west ham fixtures and I'd be happy so I'm there in that regard West ham have recent bad form Watford was spectacular Monday On the day anything can happen though I'd like to see Monday's form carried forward and regardless of result a good reassuring display If we win happy times
Well, Liam Neeson was Ulster amateur senior boxing champion when he was younger, and Nicolas Cage won a best actor Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas. Don't know how anyone can look past The Room for worst movie. It's cliche now, because it's so true.
I haven't seen Watford win a prem game this season Been Chelsea away, Huddersfield, swansea, Thought I was Jonah till we drew 2-2 Southampton Did see three nil fa cup win though
West Ham are missing their two best players. Lanzini and Arnautovic. But the players must work just as hard as they did against Chelsea. Nothing can be taken for granted. We have slipped up against teams we should have beaten. However with Gracia I think he will get that message into the players minds and they can get a result. It was wonderful to see the mental resilience shown after Hazard's wonder strike. Heads did not drop as they did against Palace and Swansea. There was belief and tenacity in spades and once more the team looks united. Even Richarlison crying for me is a good sign. He wants to play and is never afraid to shirk from what must be a stage many young players struggle with. After months of everything going for them it takes character to cope when they hit a barren run and things they rely on don't work.
