    Cannot believe we have 2 pages of comments on such an unimportant game.

    Have no interest in this and would prefer to rest everyone that is anywhere near our 1st team. An injury to Doucoure or Rich and we are buggered

    True but it is an opportunity fro the new gaffer to try out some stuff. Ultimately I would actually prefer a loss on this one so that we can focus on the looming relegation battle.

    Cannot believe a fan of a club with 0 (zero) trophies won in 137 years of trying has no interest in a cup match at a time when we have the best squad in the entire history of the club.

    But I suppose we might win the 17th place cup.

    I must read these books again soon and mend even watch the BBC series again. Mrs kVA will hate that!

    I usually think football manager / player interviews are reletively pointless but I am impressed by what Gracia is saying.

    Already 10x the man Silva is instead of looking for excuses before we’ve even lost and pointing the finger the day before the game.

    ...and we barely won another point as we and the players seemingly got so excited about a cup we were never going to win. At least that time we had enough points in the bag to effectively be safe. The distraction of a run to the semis this time would probably cost us relegation.

    If we score first it’s going to be interesting how Gracia acts in what Silva may have done. Stick or twist when they come at us near the end?

    I would think a change would only be then used to bolster the tiring midfield and or defence. If Silva was in charge and both Feeney and Grey scored he’d sub them both and put Pantillimon up front.
