    Had "cramp" apparently!

ZZ cannot defend to save his life as warned by a Sporting fan when we signed him - same with Janmaat - must be a Dutch thing.

Richarlison still looks like the only real threat alongside Doucoure and the only ones who seem able to complete a whole game.

Okaka did well for 20 minutes but was totally out of it 2nd half - and we had Cleverley playing 2nd striker!

Prodl seems a different defender since coming back from injury...

I presume Hughes isn't near fitness as suggested a week or so ago.

Even Silva on 3CR pretty much blamed Gray by saying he should have "killed the game"

Need to get this off my chest right now, as soon as I've walked through the door.

What an absolute steaming pile of ****. Might backtrack on a few things I say here in 24 hours, but right now whilst emotions run high - I think we're going down. Call me deluded, clueless, whatever. But 9 defeats in 13 - about to be 10 in 14 - is relegation form without a doubt.

As everybody saw - Swansea were total crap. Yet everyone in the ground knew that as long as it was only 1 nil - they'd put in a bit more effort at the end in the hope they'd get something. And being Watford - we gave them 3 points instead of 1.

Andre Gray - I've resisted criticising you up until now, in the faint hope you'd come good. You won't. You are absolute ****. You had heaps of time, and Fabianski hadn't gotten that far off his line, therefore giving you more goal to aim at. And you blasted it straight at him. Adam Leventhal giving Fabianski credit for the save on Twitter??? It was a save by default - the ball just hit him. All Gray had to do was pass it a foot either side. Ellington would have scored, it was that bad.

Marco Silva - I've stated on here I'm a fan - that I prefer you as a coach to many other candidates. I was wrong. You've lost the dressing room, because there was zero urgency from anybody out there to increase the lead against a team doing an impression of a pub side. Now that our attacking zest is history, your inability to organise a defence is costing us. You continue to make ***** substitutions, and your reputation is sinking with every game. No premier league team will touch you now, so it's back to Portugal for you. Yes I've changed my tune. I cannot ignore the facts right before my eyes. If he turns it all around, I'll change it back again. But I won't - because he won't.

Prodl - I can only assume you've been cloned and the original is being held prisoner somewhere. What has happened to you??

Janmatt - Another defender that can't actually defend. Awful.

Tiredness is not an excuse, it's the same for every team this time of year. Only the early season form is currently preventing us from plummeting down the table. But that won't last much longer.

For every pathetic defeat, the harder it gets to attract better players in January. And my god do we need them.

We are - without doubt - on current form, the worst team in the division.

After Huddersfield I said Man City would get ten. The only thing stopping that is how determined City will be to keep scoring after they're 3 or 4 nil up.

This isn't a knee jerk assessment, or "wetting my pants" as some fans get accused of doing when reacting to defeat - we've been terrible for some time now. Walter was cut zero slack for the injuries, so the same applies to Silva. And today's defeat was nothing to do with missing players.

Our championship team would have murdered Swansea this afternoon.

    We're **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** ****

Speaking of injuries is there any news at all about Feminia, Hughes, Kaboul and Britos? I assume the medical team have no information as usual.

It does as it goes. The header we scored didn't look a foul either.
So was today another match of poor refereeing or is that just papering over the cracks?

Swansea would have had 4 minutes injury time for a 3rd.

You're always going to get poor refereeing especially with that ***** Atkinson. Going to the World Cup probably as well. Appalling. So we have to create chances and make our own luck by taking them and if we were a ruthless team like Liverpool last week put a dreadful side to the sword. Instead eight elevenths of the team fannied around, couldn't string passes least enough that were forward or do any of the basics properly. Like defending set pieces, palming balls into play, overlapping with your winger, playing a first time ball forward rather than backwards all the time and being physically weak. Hey you Daryl Jancrap and Zeegbum. Might as well have played with just two at the back. We never played as a unit from back to front. So stretched and no interaction between our striker and the wingers or midfield. No interaction between the fullbacks and wingers. And the poor centrebacks once more being dragged out wide to compensate for the two pylons pretending to be fullbacks. A perfect example is when Kabasele (being played on his weaker side) has to head clear for the Zeegbuffoon. No communication at all. The number of times when Jan***** was caught out of position or Zeegbum let the ball over his head or was uncertain about it was appalling. Give me Mason over them. Utter dog***** the pair.

Wague had a touch of cramp apparently. If that is the case, he should have been told to play on through the pain. We’ve all had cramp during a game of footy, it’s a tad uncomfortable but it’s hardly life or ******* death. These modern day football tarts need to Man the **** up.

A tight one - but there's 6 yellow shirts within the lines of the 6 yard box, compared to 2 white ones. Yet they still score:mad:

It wasn't Gray's fault we lost. It was his fault he missed the chance to go 2-0 up, but we should have had three points comfortably in the bag by then. For Silva to claim Gray should have killed the game is to deflect responsibility from his own very slippy shoulders. Tippy-tappy across midfield, passing it around the back, but no penetration. Didn't we have fewer shots than them even before they scored?

Silva's fault. He has to hold his hand up. He has to change things.

A tight one yes but they never seem to go for us these days unfortunately!
What with our goal being disallowed as well I sometimes think we’ll not get any correct tight decision going our way.
I’m in no way trying to blame the ref for our loss either I just want consistency on both sides and in all games!

That was disappointing to say the least, but I could see it coming. Why we spent the whole second half making no attempt to bag a second is beyond me. If ever a team were short on confidence and there for the taking Swansea were it, but we made no attempt to force the pace - and the inevitable happened. Our defensive organisation under pressure is absolutely shocking.

He has to go back to basics. I maintain that you should only play with one front man if that striker is absolutely top class. Only the top 6 in the division should be trying it because they’ve got the players to do it. He has to try with two up front, Richarlison and Carrillo wide and two in the middle. I also think of those injured, five would be in this first team at the minute as part of the current formation (Kaboul, Britos, Femenia, Hughes and Chalobah)

City is a write off so we need to hope that two weeks brings us some injury recovery, new signings and some serious galvanising of the troops in the dressing room.

Back home and after a few chats on and the piss taking from the Chelski fans who got on at west Brampton we all agreed the problem is Silva and the Everton approach He has to go or we are going down he has lost the dressing room by not showing 100% commitment when Everton were sniffing around Deeney also needs to follow him out Today and Tuesday were again dire only difference was Leicester were worse than us.

God helps us on Tuesday and Man c, Bristol C & Southampton must be ribbing their hands with Glee as well

    FA rules.
3.2 If it only a little bit offside and is against Watford. Goal should stand.
4.6 If a Watford player is only marginally onside and scores. Goal should be disallowed.
5.2 If a Watford player scores a goal, but an excuse can be made to disallow it, this opportunity should not be wasted. Goal should be disallowed.
6.9 If a Watford player makes a tackle with a serious face, or runs a bit fast, a red card should be issued.
7.1 If an opponent dives against Watford, a penalty should always be awarded.
9.3 After an unfortunate incident in the recent Watford v Leicester match, all referee watches are to be withdrawn at Vicarage Road games.

We need to win 5 more wins. Going on our recent form I can only make a case for wins in the following games:-

Southampton (h), Stoke (a), Palace (h), Newcastle (h), Bournemouth (h), West Brom (h).....maybe West Ham (a). That's it. All other games I cannot see us even being able to compete in.

Staying up will be tight. Our only hope is the transfer market. I think we have too many comfortable players and there needs to be a clear out.

First game I’ve been to since Wolves on Boxing Day under Joka. Left on 80 minutes because the 2nd half was so rubbish. Thanks to no data use when I’m overseas, didn’t even know we had lost until we got home, after joking the whole ride home it would have happened. Unbelievable.

With regards to Silva, I think the Leicester result saved his job. Had we lost that, and the game could have gone either way, I don't see how he could have stayed after today's debacle.

What was it GT said.. "if you win it's the players achievement.. if you loses it's the managers fault"

Isnt it a collective effort really? I mean the manager is limited in what he can do once the game has started and how do we know he's (football cliche warning) lost the dressing room? We can only guess at such things as none of us are privy to such matters.

We only seem to beat team in form like Leicester were to an extent....and even they could have scored 2 late on as well.

Anyone out of form and its 3 points for them and most of these other sides at least seem able to keep it tight at the back.

Our run of away games is awful so won't get much more on the road for the rest of this season.

Who is that “ marking” McBurnie who is 6 ft 2 ? Is it 37 which is Bobby P- I can see Prodl looking over as Ayew nips in behind him

Is this a new form of Zonal marking and is this why for the winner we had no one on the edge of the box so whoever shot to bring about the parry from Gomes had time to bring it down and steady himself .

As pointed out above, Gray did not cost us the game, our poor defending and trend of conceding in quick succession did which is maybe why Marco deflects criticism onto not killing it off which is only part of the reason.

We should not be anywhere near reliant on a lino making a close call decision in the last few minutes against Swansea. It was a woeful performance throughout the game. I keep saying this - margins are so fine in this game, a shot a few inches either way, a bad bounce, a poor decision, etc, etc.

Our attitude was all wrong today, it wasn't our ability, it wasn't that we weren't trying, it was just that our attitude was such that we were happy trying to merely "cling on" instead of being positive enough to go for the bigger win.

Attitude, attitude, attitude .... and that must have a lot to do with Silva.

Sorry, you can blame me for making ultra-positive posts (too) early on in the season as I have done the last two seasons, as clearly this is guaranteed to jinx our season once the clocks have gone back.

I won't do it again even if we start the first two months of next season with a 100% record.

Interestingly the commentator I was listening to said the same thing - which surprise me, said that he didn’t know what Silvas problem was he has a two year contact and should have shown some loyalty but instead had made it clear that he wanted to go to Everton and the team hadn’t been the same since

In one game, I take your point. Two or three even. But we're into a streak now of awfulness which has no door to rest at other than the coach. He has to go and I suspect it may be before the next match.

The performances, results and general trend do not suggest that he is steering our club in the right direction. Plus he comes across as a total **** in interviews
