Alli really is a dirty little sh*t. Horrid player. Another reason to dislike England team.

Did Okaka actually touch the ball in the 12 minutes he was on the pitch-and as we brought Gray on instead of him for the last 30 minutes straight after they go down to 10 men i thought we should have tried to fashion balls over the top/ last man that he could run onto. One of the few (apparent) strengths he has is that.

Big Steff touched it breifly before trying a very odd step over that looked like his leg had spasmedcausing him to lose balance and nearly fall over.

A spasmedcausing injury is at least a week out or with our medical team three months.

That was a big part of it for me. There were 5 or 6 players in the starting eleven who probaley wouldnt be anywhere near if we didnt have all these injuries etc. Like you say though it doesnt excuse the feeble defending for the 2nd and 3rd goals - Holebas especially needs to take along hard look at himself (or preferably just **** off).

The officiating in the 1st half was amongst the worst I've ever seen and had a huge impact on the game. The second half looks alot different when its 0-1 & 11 v 11 which is what it should have been. They got pretty much every big decision wrong, including Hoggs sending off which seemed harsh. Wouldnt mind see the penalty again as well as that looked suspect from the other end of the pitch.

Huddersfield are a poor side but they were better organised, stronger, quicker, fitter and more athlete than us.

Huddersfield did not have to break a sweat to score any of their goals today. That was about the worst defensive display that i have seen in 30 years. What planet was Wagner on when he said they scored fantastic goals. This is not being petty, we were absolutely, totally, and utterly dog poo.

I go to every home match and have been a season ticket holder for as long as I can remember. Supported the club for 38 years and missed probably around 20 home games in that time. I don't mind you giving me both barrels, but at least get your facts right first.

How about that? Something weird about our physio. Hughes probably now has a groin injury.

No inconsistency. Spurs are a big club, Watford are a small club. There is 100% consistency.

Without doubt the refs are biased/lenient towards certain teams and far too quick to give the big teams the benefit of the doubt. If that had been a Watford or Huddersfield player putting in a tackle like that against City they would have seen red. Last weekend in the Liverpool/Everton derby there was a two footed lung from behind by Mane on Niasse which was worse than Deeneys challenge today yet only a yellow was a shown.

What annoys me is that the FA allow players like Alli to get away with it. He could have cynically caused a very serious injury yet it will get brushed under the carpet. Lukaku commits assault by repeatedly kung fu kicking a Brighton player and they wont do anything about it. Britos rightly sees red for his challange against Brighton and people are out for his blood. Dual standards all the time.

We tried the strange tactic of playing high balls for Gray to try and knock down for Okaka to run on to, funnily enough it didn't work.

The Premier League is a business. They don't want their most high profile players not present.

When Watford have their best players available they look terrific. But it relies on 5 players for it to work. To get to that level of performance we saw against Bournemouth and Southampton, we need the Cleverley, Chalobah, Doucoure triangle....and we need Richarlison and Carrillo on the flanks.

That midfield was incredible. The work rate was phenomenal. No one else is prepared to put that sort of effort in. The defence has always been a problem and home form has never been good. So we relied on a few stunning away performances, which had us racing up the league.

Take away Chalobah, and we gradually started to falter. Today, no Cleverley and it was too much. Next week no Doucoure.

Right now, along with Newcastle and Stoke, we are probably the worst team in the Premier League. Today was the worst home performance since we gained promotion, and rivals that Yeovil game. This match will be referenced in future when someone wants to describe something that's really crap.

Today was worrying because of the manner of defeat. We were playing a side that has not scored a single away goal in their last 7. Did they have anyone in their side who was really terrifying? We are now throwing away a lot of winnable games. There will be plenty of tough tests to come, especially away from home for the rest of the season. Home is where we have to be strong.

I've not seen a single good home performance. There's been a couple of acceptable ones, but nothing where we've looked assured, taken control and looked comfortably the better side. If you are a soft touch at home, you WILL be in trouble. We ARE a soft touch at home, so we have big problems.

January cannot come quickly enough, and if there is a silver lining from today, it's highlighting we cannot afford to ride it out. Action in the transfer market is urgently required and we cannot afford to get it wrong.

The good news is that we are a lot more effective away, so there is hope. Although Doucoure is suspended, so hope will be slim. At home, this has so far been one of the worst seasons in recent memory.

Hardly helped with a number of red cards and some pretty tough games (City, Man U, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal which I know we won)

Plus we always lose to Stoke at home!

Mind you Leicester will enjoy attack us and Swansea seem to be better away from home so we do have to over-come such issues soon.

Presume Holebas thought he had been fouled and hoped the ref would blow up but think everything happened so far that there was no chance of that happening.

Feel a bit sorry for Huddersfield - you win 4-1 away from home and only 4th on!

But he put his arm up just before their player took his shot. Hudderfield should really have stopped play. Clearly any sort of eyelash related injury should be treated with the utmost seriousness.

I thought he went down because he overstretched and pulled something. He's holding his face trying to get a sympathetic foul from the ref. Appalling play acting, which directly cost us the third goal and all hope of a miracle comeback.

I agree, he should be on the hit list. We don't need players like this. Faking injury at key moments is just ridiculous.

Just seen MoD.. not a penalty, both red cards wrong and the first goal shouldnt have stood. Well done ref on throwing the game to Huddersfield.

It's Michael Oliver. Is anyone really surprised by this? Some officials are just bent. It will never change though.

Well unfortunately we won't be helped if the likes of Holebas and Richarlison are busy trying to con the officials or we are all surrounding the ref after 2 minutes over a cheap corner.

Hardly endears ourselves to a bunch of officials who probably as you suggest don't have a lot of time for us compared to the big boys.

Some tact is probably needed tbh...we seems to be ok earlier in the season with discipline.

In fairness Michael Oliver had an excellent game in the Manchester derby last week despite what Jose said.
