what a fantastic point and well deserved. So proud of the guts and effort of our lads.

We lost 2 goals through sloppy defending and goalkeeping. Kabasele and Mariappa need to be nowhere near the team come Jan. We need central defenders of quality to come in and plug, what is the weakest area of the team and squad.

The team fought hard though, from the time we conceded. I struggled to watch the whole game smoothly due to issues with waterways and conduits, which was frustrating, but from what I could see, we were toe to toe with the fithiest, most brutish team in the league. Cleverley in particular was like a Spartan.

Up front, Richarlison continues to just look amazing. Pereyra came on and looked match fit. Must start next game, with Clevers dropping next to Doucoure.

Deeney put in a good leader's shift - it was very brave of Marco to start him after Gray finally broke his duck, but I think it was proven to be the correct call over the 90.

Both Kiko and Holebas were impressive, from what I saw, with both having momets of real quality.

Carillo plugged away well, but the decision to replace him with Gray looked to be the right call. Gray did OK once he came on, though he clearly lacks quality and craft, he won some good free kicks and worked hard.

One criticism I had was that as the game wore on, our forward line was lining up flat agaisnt thair back four and waiting for the slung in ball from Pereyra or Holebas, which was seemingly playing into their hands, yet our equalising goal came courtesy of a Pullis style freekick into the box.

I'm absolutely buzzing, after winning, what I am sure will prove to be a massive, massive point. The heart and guts of every player, including those I criticise for lacking in ability was the difference. I love these boys.

I would still like to see the centre backs, Gomes and Capoue replaced in future line ups, though it seems that Silva doesn't like to make too many changes from game to game, but I think that it's time to give Karnezis the chance to prove himself and to put in some centre halves who are actually in keeping with the quality in the rest of the team (subject to Prodl and Britos being fit and available). I also think having Pereyra at no. 10 with Cleverley in the midfield fulcrum with Doucoure would be better than having Capoue, who should be after those two in the queue for selection.

Overall, fantastic result and a very bright performance from a team who are making this a great season to be a part of. Much Love Hornets!

Entertaining game of football that - for Watford fans at least. We absolutely dominated them and showed way, way more quality.

The two goals were disappointing. Kabasele obviously shouldn't have allowed himself to get shrugged off like that by Piggy Rondon, but Gomes should have done much better in covering the angles.

Holebas's set pieces are hmmmm....OK I suppose. One good one followed by one that hits the first man and another that goes beyond everyone.

Capoue was better today and seemed consciously to be playing it a bit faster than usual. He often slows us down a fair bit. He was pretty unlucky to have two bullet, low-struck shots deflected away for corners.

Bobby P was absolute class. Every touch (apart from one overhit for a gk) demonstrated what a good player he is.

Kabasele was rather less than average. He's had some good games, but in this one he looked like the Kabs from last season. Gave away some silly fouls too.

Doucoure had a few dodgy moments in the first half with passes straight to the opposition. Could have easily cost us a goal against a better team. Took his goal very well though and improved vastly in the second.

Carrillo also showed (again) what a smooth and elegant footballer he is. He's got great pace too. Looked a little bit scared of the flying WBA boots and bodies I thought though on occasions.

Deeney - I wouldn't say he was hopeless. Got the flick on for Doucoure's goal and served as a good outlet all game. I thought Silva was going to swap him for Gray which wouldn't have been a good move. He's always capable of blasting his way though their defence or getting a header in or whatever. Thought he did better than Gray - although he did fade in the 2nd without doubt.

Cleverley - Worked very hard and was one of our best three players today. Lots of little flicks and passes to set runners away.

Charlie Rich - Erect nipples. 10/10. What a player! They were terrified of him.

I think you mean indefensible. :)

Sort it out Silva, being unbeaten away is all very well but what good is it if you can't win at friggin' home? Must do better after the break.

Another game without a booking either. Britos's madness aside, it's noticeable how our discipline has improved so much this season. I think that's just 8 yellow cards in our seven PL matches, and one of those was for removal of a shirt after scoring. That improvement will be worth something in November and December when we don't get players banned for accruing five cautions. We're not seeing needless bookings for dissent either, unlike under Mazzarri.

The bloke hasn't had a decent run in the team and will be off the pace, but still got singled out on WBA fans forums as one the main problems they faced this afternoon.

I sometimes think our fans see what they wish to see.

One of my favourite bits today was holebas chatting **** to Kieran Gibbs, 'your not fit to lace my boots!'

Holebas was an absolute hero, what a tackle at the end.

I thought that was a superb game of football - worthy of 1st place on match of the day.

Yes we let in 2 soft goals
Yes we couldn’t get our finishing together
Yes we had a few crap passes

But we looked dominante , and so dangerous. You could also see that every player on the pitch wanted to win and was giving everything they had. Don’t think I would criticise anybody today - think I might even be starting to think holebas is a great player.

Apart from winning the only thing that would have made that better would have been if Gomes has scored the last goal

His block shortly before to stop McClean's shot from going in was also brilliant. Love the moody bugger.

I'm really enjoying watching this team play - such a difference to last season. Oh Richarlison...

What a game!!! Love a great away day. Sorry to whoever I jumped on. Scenes at the end were brilliant!!

The most pleasing part is we completely deserved that and maybe even the 3 points. Even if we had lost, it wouldn’t have felt like a wasted away day because we created, we entertained and we looked like a team. I friggin love it.

Centre backs are dodgy, really need to fix that in January. Mariappa shouldn’t be starting Premier League games.

    Kiko is great.

    Capoue invisible and a hinderance.

Richarlison & Doccoure are both wonderful footballers and destined for greater things.

Cleverley for all his technical shortcomings is an absolute warrior and deserves praise.

Deeney is a different player now. No longer a goal threat but gives defenders something to think about. Still a bit sluggish, brain seems step or two behind and his movement is diabolical. Doesn’t run the channels, stood on Hegazi & Evans toes for most the game. Did win the header leading to Doccoure’s goal I believe.

Pereyra is definitely a class above, just needs a run of games. Showed some great touches and keeps the ball so well under pressure.

West Brom are ******* horrible, why anyone would buy a season ticket to watch that I do not know. Awful side, barely deserved a point. **** Pulis and his touchline antics.

Finally, a big humongous, gigantic, massive **** off to James McClean. Nasty, horrible player, tried to injure Richarlison and ended up giving away the free kick which Richy scored from. Karma, you *****.

PS - Carillo is a great signing. Quietly goes about his business, drifts all over the pitch and doesn’t waste the ball. Shocking miss though haha.

Deeney won the header which fell for Richarlison to provide the assist for our first goal. If not formidable he was a menace and gave the wba centre backs something to think about. I thought he defended well too

Now imagine me, sitting in my living room with a mug of coffee in one hand and watching a dodgey Pakistani stream on my laptop.

    GOAAAALLL.....

The walls are now painted black, my shirt is covered in stains and my phone now has a fine-line crack down the middle of the screen as a result of throwing it at the laptop in a momentum of joy.

Apart from the cracks, stains and dodgey wall colour, I still retain a very wide smile on my face as I listen to the pundits (who claimed we'd get relegated) explain how good we have become!

    Another away day drama!

We deserved a draw at least against a side very content to hold on to what they had after some sloppy defending on our part.

Seemed to run out of ideas a bit at the end but kept going!

Deeney didn't really do much and most of our threat came down the right.

Thought we played very well second half, controlling the ball and putting them under pressure. Love that we never seem out of the game, Silva has worked magic in that respect. Doucoure is awesome, Richarlison is a magician.

Everything came together to somehow allow me to watch this game without too many technical hiccups from Burkina Faso (long story). I am so glad I didn't turn off after 93 minutes, because I really wanted to. What a difference from last season.
