Sure he looks funny, but his enthusiasm is infectious. He just seems so excited to be a football manager and happy. It's a stark comparison from grumpy nuts.
I think once he proves himself at Hull he could take a top job. Sure it's only Hull but his experience in Russia is pretty bloody good. Seems he just wanted to get a job in England whether it was Chelsea, Watford or Hull. He is the first Russian manager in England after all. I hope he does well. I like him a lot.
Looking at the balance of the squad. We have 9 home grown and 16 foreign, (assuming Arlauskis doesn’t make the cut), making the 25 man registered squad, with Success, Richarlison and Mason as non-registered first team players. If we sign a keeper, Pants will go. If we sign a central defender, I suspect either Kaboul or Britos will go. If we sign a right winger, Amrabat will go. If will sign a left back, Djedje will go. I’ve not given up on Penaranda either, as he’s not gone out on loan yet. There might be an appeal ongoing with him and if successful, he’d be another “bonus” U21 player available to the first team.
I think we will see 3 more incoming yet Hb1. I can also see a couple leaving still. Djedje is one that I can't see being in the named squad. I suspect he'll end up going out on loan somewhere.
Need a left back to challenge Holebas A first choice centre back to partner Prodl A first choice keeper to replace Gomes A first choice right winger to replace Amrabat
I though Silva looked a bit stressed & tetchy in his post-match interview, not his usual smiling & relaxed self. Probably just had another bust-up with Capoue after leaving him on the bench.
He had just had a text saying his car had been stolen and was heading up the M1 with some of these guys in it
Another great press conference. So nice being able to just understand our Head Coach and not having to guess what he is saying.
I also like it when people share links to what they are talking about. Without anything to see or hear it can be any language and it makes no odds to me.
