I'm only guessing here but behind the scenes the transfer negotiations are not as messy as they appear in the media....

    Probably something like this...

Gino makes as approach for the player
    - media say its on
    - media say its off
    - media say club don't want to sell
    - media say its on
    - media say player doesn't want to leave
    - media say its on
    - media say its off
    Gino completes the deal

Lemina is the Box to Box midfielder we are looking for - not the CAM

No. It is illegal not to name your child in Gabon.

Box to Box sounds like a lesbian sex position. An offshoot of the scissor movement.

Shame Berghuis left as Im sure he would have welcomed the addition.

Are you saying Berghuis is a lesbian?

Possibly the best piece of ITK info we've had on here for some time.
Of course, I'll only fully believe it if you provide photographic stills and HD video footage of him 'in action' with another lesbian.

I can't believe we let him go now.

Berghuis and Forestieri used to be a couple.

Apparently Reports from [SKY] Germany are saying that is nonsense.... link

I suspect that story is to drive up the price for us.

Just speculation but I'm convinced that we are trying to wrap up a deal for both Lemina & Pereyra.
Pereyra is agreed - we're just trying to work out the Lemina piece.

My thought exactly. You'd think they'd have come up with a more credible club than Schalke though!

Hope you're right but really don't see it. Too much noise saying P wants to stay, we haven't met their fee plus of course others are interested inc wet spam who can offer European football of a sorts.
Less excited about Lemina and the asking price seems crazy. Really hope you are right though.

If Juventus want to sell Pereyra then he knows he's going and is only looking for more wages or the story is made up for click bait purposes.

Schalke just sold Sané to ManC for £37m and last season sold Draxler for near £30m. They've got some wonga.

    From today's Telegraph........

Watford to outbid Arsenal to sign Mario Lemina?
    Sorry, what?

In a remarkable turn of events, good old Watford are flexing their financial clout and could put Arsenal to shame here, as they appear to have outbid the North London club for the signature of Mario Lemina, according to the Mirror.

Reports over the weekend claimed that Arsenal had seen a €16m (£13.8m)rejected by Juventus for the Gabon international, but it seems that Watford have blown them out of the water with a €20m (£17.3m)offer.

I could be wrong but I think the papers have got their wires crossed confusing Lemina for Pereya.

I doubt we'd bid £17m for Lemina, that's a little rich even for us.

Outbidding arsenal is really not difficult. Their owners are only interested in cash and profits and other than the exceptions of Sanchez and Ozil always bid low on the basis there's no competition and they can offer champs league. Will finish outside the top 4 this season.

Saw a similar article to this but I think the mirror. Pretty much the same article except they go on to say that Lemina is thought to have rejected us.

Hopefully Pereyra and Lemina are good mates and we end up with both.... Or neither.

    Edit: too slow

Why would we sell Doucoure ?

And Lemina is wanted by Arsenal and Leicester, so I dont think thats going to happen.

For us, right now, Pereyra would be significantly more of an improvement IMO.

Juve fans rate Lemina much higher if my expert twitter scouring is anything to go by; many are happy for Pereyra to go as he's taking a squad place. I would be significantly more surprised if we landed Lemina, though I do think it's a good buy.

Not saying we should or will but it's strange that he was left out at the weekend after playing a big part in pre-season. If he wasn't suspended and the bid from Monaco is all true then you have to wonder.
