Has anyone here been? Got a group of 8 lads goin to the laganas strip next july, just wandered if anyone knew what its like or places to go etc?
Came back from Zante 2 weeks ago stayed in kalamaki, walked along the beach to laganas, plenty of bars and clubs, not to my taste but I'm im my 50's OK for the younger crowd. Plenty of topless birds on the beach. Close to the Airport. http://www.justzante.co.uk/laganas.htm
Went in 2008, just head to the main strip and work your way down towards the beach end by the end of the night. A place called Waikiki (possibly spelt differently) was generally the best place to end.
its good had an immense time, be aware of the little gypsie kids on the strip who try and nick all your money. best place out there is proberley rescue for me great in there
an absolute pit of a place , and ive been twice , stinks ,full of chav ****s and theres generally sick and glass on the floor of most bars
I concur, I suppose if you are 18/19 you will enjoy it but the constant hastle down the strip put me off on the first night when i was there. Found it a complete dive Give me Rhodes any day of the week
Plus the rental companies out there are dodgy, rumours around of them following you back and 'sabotaging' the quad when it's outside your hotel, so you have to pay a horrible crippling insurance charge. Or they'll just steal it back and you'll get an even bigger crippling insurance charge.
A relief to see that not everyone on here is amoeba grade scum. If I want to get so pissed, it, makes me go blind, then shag a fat, northern slag with tattoos before throwing up in a fishing boat, i can do that at home.
By the way, am in the toilet in a Best Western in the Mojave desert with peyote and beer. That is a holiday. The rattlesnake wanted me to say that.
