WATFORD'S Ashley Young leapt 35 places to fifth in this week's Actim Index following an impressive 47-point-haul from his side's dramatic clash with Fulham on Monday night.

Young bagged a second-half brace, including a crucial last-minute equaliser at Vicarage Road, to add to his already admirable season statistics.
The 21-year-old is currently showing the sort of form that has made him a crowd-favourite with Hornets' fans and is proving himself as a worthy Premiership-quality forward.
Young has sent in an incredible 46 crosses to date as well as making 78 passes and attempting 14 shots.
And Young's striker partner and friend Marlon King was quick to praise his recent form: "He can be as good as he wants to be. He has come a long way in a short space of time. He is getting better all the time and he wants to improve and he got two great goals on Monday night."
Another big scorer this week was Manchester United's rejuvenated striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, whose two goals helped the Red Devils to victory over Newcastle and helped to secure him 44 Actim points.
Chelsea's unstoppable forward Didier Drogba moved up a place from third to second in the standings following yet another goal against Aston Villa.
Only Everton hot-shot Andrew Johnson lies ahead of Drogba in the rankings; another goal against Manchester City on Saturday ensured Johnson maintained pride of place with 172 points to date.
Kanu and Gareth Barry were other players who improved on their top 10 positions, the Pompey striker climbing from eighth to sixth with his strike at Spurs, whilst Barry shifts from fourth to third following a courageous display in the 1-1 draw Stamford Bridge.
Veteran Bolton Wanderers midfielder Gary Speed also edged his way into the Actim Top 10 after notching up 32 points in the 2-0 win over Liverpool.

    WOW.
I cant see us holding on to him for long unfortuantely.
I know if i was a manager of one of the big 4 i would seriously look at making a considerable offer for him, and if aidy and the board use their loafs they will hold out on any offers on him to get the best price possible. not let him go for anything less than £5 million.

If Andy Johnson went for 8 Million when he was classed as a Championship player then I would want the same or more as Ashley is classed as a Premiership player.

Agreed, I would stick my neck out and say he is far better a player than johnson.

Same here. If he continues this form then he's going to be off at the end of the season. Compared to Johnson it's scary to think what he could be worth.

Consdiering he is still relatively Young :D
It desn't help not letting a player go if he wants to. I hope that the team spirit and potential as well as his guaranteed first team choice, helps us keep hold of him.
