As long as they take the stories and basic characters but remake it for the us rather than try to remake it verbatim then they could do a decent job.
Not so sure about Corell though, think it has to be unknowns.

I can't stand OFAH. Maybe the very early ones with Grandad, but once Raquel and Cassandra came in, it was crap.

 

I know what you mean, it went from sharp, clever dialogue jokes to slapstick.

 

Some of the jokes were straight out of jokebooks I had as a kid. Elaborately set up with crap punchlines. Awful.

 

I blame Buster Merryfield.

Once they went solo and stopped following the script of the English version, in my opinion, the US version is unquestionably superior.

I don't know what's worse, as least the American version can't help being cheesy.

 

Apparently the writers of Scrubs are behind the remake so im expecting a massive fail.
