After Saturday my belief has finally gone

 

A win Saturday would of seen us within 3 points of the PO ..it's done now we probably need 7 wins or at the very least 6 wins and 2 draws out of the last 8
We are mentally weak ....god knows how some of these players are going to handle Kenilworth rd in a few weeks.. with Luton fans screaming in their faces for 90 mins

 

"Non-believer". 8 straight wins and we are right back in it.

 

Been done before in 99 but this squad is so fragile

 

We’ve not strung more than 3 wins together all season so far and we won’t by the time the season ends, hence why we’re a mid table team.

If it wasn’t for L*t*n’s relatively poor scoring record, I could see them completely reversing the score from the first game, such is the mental weakness of our team you refer to.

Would like to think our shower of bastards would at least be able to get up for a playoff campaign regardless of who we play...we have to get there first of course!

 

It's remarkable that given how inconsistent and generally sh1te we've been, that we somehow find ourselves 3 points off the playoffs with 4 games to go.

Will make it all the more frustrating if we finish 3 or 4 points off them after taking 1 point from 9 against the likes of QPR, Wigan and Huddersfield in the last month alone.

Other teams have practically held opened the door for us and we don't seem to be capable of dragging our arses through it.

 

It's amazing that we are actually still in with a chance, a narrow one, but let's hope we can do it

 

Ridiculous we are still in with a shout after winning 3 in 15 or something. Mad.

If by some miracle we made it, Luton or Boro would rip us a new one. If by some even greater miracle we bodged our way to promotion, imagine playing City and Haaland next season with this bunch of hopeless cases. 25-0 at least.

 

Blackburn have to lose 2 games in hand for it to be 3 points in reality.

So I’d say it’s more like 6.

We have no chance. We are fighting for the right to finish top half.

 

Blackburn have a pretty tough run. I fancy Coventry to get it.

 

Realistically, we have to win all our remaining games, and then it's 50-50 whether we sneak 6th. Most of the teams we have left are like Bristol City, but a) we've not been winning those games consistently this season, and b) Sunderland are quite a bit better and we have to go there too

I am sure Blackburns remaining games are Coventry, Preston, Luton, Millwall and Burnley though.

 

I would genuinely rather we missed the POs by 7 or 8 points than 3 or 4. It would be so frustrating to think that had we just beaten Wigan and QPR or held on at Burnley, we’d have finished top 6.
