    Likewise. What a season-relegated in 74/75 this was to be our "bounceback season" but finished 8th-highest league gate 7,000+ v Northampton in March -they were going up. Ross Jenkins and Andy Rankin in the squad that season but didn't play that day

    Good to see Luther has never lost the love for Watford FC.

    Just found this thread and yes, I've still got my pen.
    I was on holiday with mates in the Lake District when the 7-1 result came through. We bought a bottle of vodka from the pub to take back to the cottage to celebrate. Suffice to say we celebrated so well I have not been able to face vodka since.
