Some really good points Matt. i agree with you that the second message is more likely to be the seer.

So today may very well be my last day in the village, as tonight the wolf that tried to get rid of me last night may still want me silenced and dead and now he knows there will be no guardian standing in his way. If that is the case that is fine, I'll take one for the team and as I'm just a normal villager it will increase the chance of the seer surviving to tomorrow, especially as there may only be one wolf left tonight! In case it is my last day, I was thinking of doing a WAS and voting for a player I found most suspicious, but there is really no one who clearly stands out for me, so instead I'll say a little bit of my thoughts on each remaining player:

Squibba: Hope he's not the second tinker, if so we're in big trouble
sonofben: As I've already explained, I believe the message saying he is good is from the wolf. However the wolf would be stupid to implicate himself like that in a message today (especially as it invited the seer to view him) so I'm leaning towards the idea he is good. Of course you have to bear in mind the wolf who sent the message does not know who the new wolf is so may have implicated his wolfie pal by accident.
merchandiseman41: Voted for WAS yesterday and I have a small suspicion that he may be evil. But that's all it is.
nairobi hornet: Was pretty much cleared by the first seer, but of course that was before the full moon. If he is the new wolf he will be laughing to himself as he is so under the radar and everyone still thinks he is good. Despite that though, I am pretty sure he is still good and he voted with logic yesterday.
Optimistichornet: My hunch says he is good. He voted with logic yesterday.
WatfordTalk: My hunch says he is good, but then thinking about it I am starting to have second thoughts on that.
nornironhorn: I believe the second message today was from the seer, thus nornironhorn is the player I am most convinced out of everyone that he is good.
steve harrow: I originally had a couple of doubts but now I am pretty sure he is good.
Abso: Does he still exist? I'm pretty sure he is good but he could be playing a really clever inactive game and that is why 352 doesn't want to kill him off. Saying that I doubt that is the case. Labelled as good by the wolf on day 6 (before the full moon).

“Let me tell you how it happened. One night – early hours of the morning actually – as I woke up from another anxious dream, I discovered that in my bed I had been changed into a monstrous beast…” Squibba held court over the remaining villagers, who were now all gathered around him in the square.

“I cannot make you understand. I cannot make anyone understand what was happening inside me. I cannot even explain it to myself.” Where earlier in the day Squibba was quiet and resigned to his fate, this evening he wished to tell his story.

“’What did I do to deserve this?’ I thought. But then I understood. As immediately as I had asked that question, I knew. I understood what I was in that moment. I needed that kill. I had a desire like no other to leave at once and find a fellow villager… Looking back on it now it is terrifying. I wasn’t me. I’m not me even now really, because I know what I will become tonight if I am not stopped.”

Squibba’s eyes were wide. They were frozen, staring at the space in between fore- and background. The gathered villagers were captivated.

“To know nothing but an urge to kill is hell. It is pure evil. And though you have succumbed to the wolves’ ways for the past eight days, you must not thirst for blood much longer. The lynchings must stop.”

A crow landed on the square, and pecked at an old stain on the ground, still greasy, before flying off, chaotically.

“You will murder me tonight. You must. But you must also end the bloodshed as soon as you have your wolf. If the wolf does not cease, then you must go on, but without a wolf there should be no cause for evil. Remember this. You must unlearn soon. You must unlearn.”

The contemplative Squibba took a breath, but decided not to say anything else. He slowly got down onto the ground and sat cross-legged. He closed his eyes and appeared to pray.

The villagers were awestruck, and though they knew their man for today’s lynching for almost 24 hours, no one would take the lead.

There was a silence that the village had not known since before the spate of killings.

Minutes passed, and then an hour. Eye contact was made and broken between the villagers. No words were spoken. Reflection and contemplation.

On the stroke of 8 o’clock, Squibba carefully reached into his knapsack and pulled out the butcher’s knife that PhilippineOrn had used to lynch victims in previous days. It had become something of a tradition it seemed. And lifting it skywards, up to the crowd, Squibba waited for a leader among the pack.

    Still nothing.

Opening his eyes for the first time since uttering his last words, Squibba raised his eyebrows calmly. He was surprised, but not shocked. He took another deep breath and closed his eyes once again.

With brutal violence and deft accuracy, Squibba drove the butcher’s knife into his forehead, again and again. He made no sound, but the knife against his head did. He chopped over and over, with less aggression in each chop as his body fell weaker and weaker and eventually into lifelessness. Death.

He had done what the village could not.

The village knew it was coming. They did not expect it to happen this way though.

Things were nearing the end. And it needed to end soon. The village had lost its wits.

    Squibba was EVIL.
