Heads up, Mrs. D's Christmas do at the Vic has just been cancelled by the club and they've offered to put it back to the following week. The date? Friday December 3rd. We currently play Man City on the 4th. Could it be because another Friday night game incoming?
We will be playing Chelsea on Wednesday 1st I would think as it has to be moved from the Tuesday. Apparently there is a bit fuss over the December TV games which haven’t been announced yet despite being due on Monday !
That would work fine for me, we're having our Christmas do on the Friday so gives me a perfect excuse not to bother going to the game.
City have a Champions League fixture on the Tuesday evening, so I'd very much doubt our game will be anything other than the Saturday.
May as well forfeit this game. Just take the 3-0. Can't be any worse than what these clowns aside from Sissoko and two to three others might achieve. Could be double figures if we have to play.
It would have been double figures yesterday if Liverpool had bothered or needed to get out of second gear to win the game. Pattern was set when Salah went close in first minute even though he was flagged. Third choice keeper didn't get his gloves dirty until an hour in, by which point it was 0-4. Defence & midfield were WELL off the pace all match.
Tuesday after our game isn't it? So no issue moving forward to Friday. The issue is our game on the Tuesday before with Chelsea. Chelsea play on the Sunday before so probably want it moved to Wednesday. We are just the **** in the sandwich.
