In all honesty we should of easily been in double figures if it wasn't for their keeper, Turner I think.

I've just ventured onto a NUFC forum (one that actually has posts) - unrelenting gloom from all of them. Pages of it. And they really dislike Steve Bruce.

We scored an amazing number of goals in the five seasons in the top flight during GT's first spell, averaging at least 1.6 goals a game even when finishing midtable (and conceded a fair amount as well!).

Does anyone know the number of league goals the top scorers scored each season during that period? I know Mo Johnston scored 23 in one, which is pretty amazing, but I imagine Blissett achieved a similar total at least once?
