I'm all for "it takes all sorts" and "colour"... But now it feels like this: being in a pub with mates and acquaintances discussing football; complete with the usual banter, differences of opinion and digressions regarding cheese and air fryers. The trouble is, at the other end of the bar, two or three blokes are having an agressive slanging match. It rather kills the atmosphere.
It was improvement in performance I think it's fair to say and with a bit of luck we would probably have won the game although some pi55 poor finishing didn't help. Good to see the like of Clevs, Sema and Louza getting on the pitch and hopefully that will be the end of the injury crisis. Bilic has no excuses now for not getting us in the play offs, we have the squad, we just need a plan. Please no more Britt though, he looks absolutely huge and dreadful As others have said the new central defensive pair looks like an improvement and at least look comfortable on the ball. Martins hasn't done much since arriving and never seems quite sure what to do when he has the ball. Hopefully Louza coming back will allow Pedro to be further up the pitch in support of Davis or Araujo who I would like to see play as a two probably should have won but certainly not the worst result in the world. Tough little run of games this but we do have quite a favourable looking run in. As for the info from @Joe Blob not sure why he has received the replies he has. You don't have to believe him but why is it so important to know who the player is. I thought it was quite interesting to read. There are a few people on here who claim to be ITK yet they never seemed to get this amount of flack even when what they is happening doesn't happen Tough game Tuesday but Saturday gave me a little more belief that we could get something
It's always interesting to hear an assessment from someone who was at a match I couldn't attend. I too would hope that we can now improve, but my concern is that we will be held back by our collective spinelessness when under pressure. Christ, in a world of echo chambers and fake news I was just curious who Joe Blob was quoting in his post below. I didn’t doubt the validity, just where the quotes had come from. He then went on to say he didn’t say where the quotes where from “for obvious reasons” which I don’t think were obvious at all, considering he has then gone on to break down his relationship with them in very intimate detail in the end anyway. Perhaps maybe if you’re going to quote someone just the source will do, to save everyone a lot of hassle. Everyone chill out a bit.
