Mounting play-off fever meets rising relegation concerns. Promised land in sight meets League 1 looming abyss. Heading back to where we belong meets maybe we'd be better off playing in the same league as Airbus UK Broughton. I need to read up later on who 'Cardiff MU are... We've lost to both QPR and Huddersfield in recent weeks, so it's only fair that we allow Cardiff to apply the coup de grace to our ailing promotion hopes!
Airbus UK Broughton appear not to have won a game all season and are on -4 points!!! Further info to follow... Cymru Premier: Airbus UK deducted three points over ineligible player - BBC Sport Not sure about the other point though...
Isn't that generally how it works though? They play some on Tuesday and a couple on Wednesday? I could be wrong, but that is the EFL format for midweek non-PL games. If you play on the Friday you will always play on the Tuesday. Unless our KO against Hull has been moved to an evening KO perhaps?
Pretty sure that each team has a regular day they play midweek games, ours is a Tuesday and I'm guessing Cardiff's is a Wednesday. No idea if the clubs get to choose that, but I'd imagine so, based on ours always having been Tuesday night games at home (for as long as I can remember)
I can understand it being Weds if either team played the previous Sunday or its selected for live screening on sky, (apart from the red button) however that's not the case, therefore I would have thought its the choice of the home side. I wonder how many people will turn up tonight expecting to see a game!
Probably the same amount of have been turning up for our previous home games. Not many. Will it be any different tomorrow night? I doubit it, but if we were to win you might get a few more going to Hull clutching onto that hope of promotion...
Man who has clearly lost his marbles, Sabri Lamouchi, says we've got "probably the best squad in the league": https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/sabri-pre-watford-we-need-fight
I've only just realised why you've asked....we're at home! Haha! Good job I'm not going, I'd have been in Cardiff wondering if I'd got the wrong day!
I bet that ba5tard Fuxbury arranged for us to play on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. Expect a message from the club explaining that Tuesday evening matches are so 'yesteryear' to arrive in your in-box any minute now
Duxbury wanted to bask in the success of a win and 3 points for an 24 extra hours, understandable given it's been such a rarity.
