Thanks for the response, makes sense.

I guess there could be the potential for the sort of thing that happened with Joshua vs Ruiz first time around in that Fury doesn’t really take the Wilder fight that seriously and loses?

Yeah, has always been Fury's problem. He can switch off and he does make mistakes. You can't do that against Wilder. It will also be Fury's first ever title defence, so will probably bring a bit of pressure in itself.

In that second Wilder v Fury fight I think Wilder underestimated Fury and his tactics and was taken completely by surprise by his front foot dominance rather than running away all night and trying to be elusive (which he did in the first fight) and he couldn't adapt in the ring as his skillset is very low.

I actually said that Fury would knock Wilder out in both fights as he was too big and strong for Wilder and would put his weight all over him like he did to Steve Cunningham and would tire him out. He did that in the second but had the wrong game plan in the first fight (Ben Davison out of his depth).

If Wilder sticks to his instincts and takes the fight to Fury I can see him clipping Fury and putting him away, maybe even quite early too.

Either way, it'll be very interesting. I can't see the Joshua v Fury fight happening now until next year. Dillian Whyte will be very pi$$ed off.
