Yes, that one. But as I said, i don't know if I should believe that info...

PS: Lomban signed yesterday, I think the team is already closed.

Have Udinese made any first team signings?

    Has Allan gone?

Allans gone to Napoli, hence how we landed Britos.

Thanks, before I left that deal was all over the place so wasn't sure how it ended up.

Very, very little movement in our transfer market. Basically the club stated that last year's team was quite good but performances were bad, and they hope the new manager takes out much better from them.
    The incoming players are:
    - Ali Adnan from Rizespor
    - Duvan Zapata from Napoli on a 2-season loan (in the Allan exchange).
    - Edenilson coming back from the loan to Genoa (were he had a brilliant season).
    - Iturra from Granada.
    - Piris from Maldonado (was on loan to us and an excellent surprise last season) has been finally bought.
    - Iniguez from Argentinos (was rumoured to go on loan to Granada but maybe staying).

According to Cordero, the market isn't close yet.

Some hours after that speech: Thievy says that he wants to join Granada CF and is hoping its fast and Oier telling that he is on negotiations with Real Sociedad.

EDIT: And another name rumored Aaron Ñiguez (Elche). As you can see, Elche is a free market right now.

WFC has become from third to first in the Pozzo's triad for total market value of its team, according to transfermarkt evaluations.
I guess it had to happen, after a very limited transfer market for Udinese and depreciation of many of its players after a mediocre season while WFC has spent a lot and many of his players have seen their value rise after last season. Also, total players' value of Premier (£2.82bn) is almost double than Serie A (£1.64bn), so not a surprise that to build a competitive team for survival this would happen.
Granada is about at same "value" as last season.

Here the links, with total value of all teams in Premier, Serie A and Primera Liga at the time of July 10th 2014 and currently, with total and % difference:

    Premier (WFC 55M£): http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/prem...rein/wettbewerb/GB1/plus/?stichtag=2014-07-10
    Serie A (Udinese 52M£): http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/serie-a/marktwerteverein/wettbewerb/IT1/plus/?stichtag=2014-07-10
    Liga (Granada 36M£): http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/la-liga/marktwerteverein/wettbewerb/ES1/plus/?stichtag=2014-07-10

Of course it would happen as we've had to virtually add a whole new team just to compete. I would expect normal service to be resumed next season though.

As always with our owners it's value for money that drives the policy and not the money itself, there will always be enough. And there really isn't a shortage of players either, the three teams do not need to compete with each other for them and anyway players that might fit at one club would probably be wrong for another.

Busy days when I thought the market was closed for us:

    - Thievy official
    - Insua left to Udine then to Genova
    - Oier is going to be on loan to Real Sociedad
    - Martins is going on loan to Osasuna

So we now need another GK and a left back, and maybe we even sign a 5th central defender!

Daniel Pudil perhaps? As for keepers, Udinese have plenty! We may even be able to give you a CB!

I don't know the name yet... Maybe they will try to sign a central defender who also plays in that role.

In the other places, Kelava is already in Granada to "sign" (He is already ours) as the second GK

Cristiano Biraghi on loan to Granada from Internazionale.

Roji - Maybe I've asked this before, but why do you continue to play El Arabi? Do you think he's good enough for you?

His goalscoring ratio isn't terrible. It's more the service behind him that needs work.

To the italian supporters in here: Had you ever seen Biraghi to know how does he plays like? Totally unknown for me.

I really think he is a good striker, but he had one anchor, the gameplay of the team the years he were here was terrible, so in a game, he only received back to the goal, alone and against the defenders and the midfielders, so every game, he might had 3 shoots, all of them tired after so much running and fighting and, of course, not easy shoots.

Thats why in the 4 games with Sandoval last season he suddenly scored 5 goals, because he suddenly got a team helping the striker and moving the ball. As I said, he was about to leave bored of the gameplay, and when Sandoval confirmed he stayed, he decided to stay.

Obviously he is not a class striker, if not, he wouldn't be in Granada, he sometimes looks so "cold" and, worst of all, has no connection with Granada fans (in Granada its decided if you are a hero or an evil in the second game you play here).

But yeah, I really think that, when he has people attacking with him, he is a great great striker for a team like us, moves the central defenders a lot making spaces and is always trying to score.

Also Cordoba let on loan to Mainz 05 and the central defender Doria might be traveling to Granada to sign on loan.

What about any Watford players that we can't ship out? I would have thought Belkalem or Parades could have done a job for Granada B?

I don't think Granada B needs any other sign this season... 2 games and already 7 goals scored (Playing one of the games with 10 players 45 minutes)

Doria is on loan, with 7M€ fee to sign him. Wouldn't be a surprise a buy-sell next summer if he does great.

Doria and Balanta was my legendary FM14 centre back pairing.

One of the two will, generally, always end up as the best in the game.

In the end Insua did not go on loan to Genoa and stayed at Udinese.
This is the final list of the over 21: http://www.calcioweb.eu/2015/09/ros...ficiale-dei-25-per-la-serie-a-2015-16/252000/

In serie A the new rules valid from this year are similar to those of Premier:
    - at most 17 over21YO players not home-grown (same rules as in England: 3 years in Italian team before being 21YO)
    - max 25 players. If less than 8 HG limit is lower.
As we have only 5 HG, the list if of 22 players.

This is a transition season: as I understand from 2016/17 there MUST be 8 HG and 4 of these must be from the club own Academy. This rule would have bee difficult to follow right now.

The under21 first team players, not included in the above list, are:
    - Meret (GK) 18YO: 2nd GK now, even better than Scuffet according to some people
    - Ali Adnan (LB) 21YO: starting 11, great in the first 2 matches. Legend in making!
    - Bruno Fernandes (AM) 20YO: starting 11, much better than last season so far
    - Lucas Evangelista (AM) 20YO: bench warmer till now
    - Rodrigo Aguirre (CF) 20YO: promising sub
    - Stipe Perica (CF) 20YO: bench

Yes @sherlock, he is still one of the less paid players in the team and Granada said that 20M€ or nothing (And maybe he will get a new contract if he does the great year everybody is expecting).

This year so far: 1 goal, 1 assist and the feeling that he can handle all the 1vs1.

I must say that I've read that the Pozzo's like contracts with low baseline and a lot of performance-related bonuses (games played mostly).
A very good idea IMHO, in order to "force" players to give 110% in training and in matches to convince the coach to make them play.

I hope Success goes on in this good form, for Granada's position in table and for his possible future in a big team (with a VERY BIG transfer fee, good to buy 10+ more very promising 17YO youngsters :]] ).

Flamengo confirms the wide rumours saying that Udinese has bought (4M€) the young defender Samir, who will most likely go on loan to Granada till Summer because currently Udinese has no free extra-EU player-slots.

Possibly worrying thing: on Udinese forum a guy usually decently ITK says he heard it will be Watford which will buy the lad.
When will you, parasites, buy your own scouting network instead of vulturing around our targets? You're worse that b'muff!!!
    ;)

Jokes apart, about the possibility that WFC buys the player:
    - strange, I doubt the lad can obtain VISA easily as he's not international
    - maybe it's a way to have WFC pay for the deal (as it's the richer club in the triad now) loaning the lad to Granada first and Udinese later?
    - or maybe scouts think the lad is most suited to Premier than to serie A?
