Especially when he got 11 minutes of added time, absolutely bonkers take.

Dyche is the same. Burnley try every trick in the book, then he'll moan the second anyone does it to them.

Love the cruncher from Kucka in the build up to Cucho's second.

Ironically we are more likely to win and score at home by playing negative counter -attacking football than leaving ourselves open by trying to attack.

So it looks like Woy will only have them for one or two training sessions before the Liverpool match

    https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/19990741.roy-hodgson-bemoans-break-watford-game-liverpool/

Reads like we've given them this week off which seems bizarre at such a crucial time of the season.

You really don't understand anything, ever, do you?

Either that or I'm making myself look ever more foolish giving in again to one of the greatest living performance trolls. It's 50/50, maybe leaning somewhat towards the latter, at this point.

OK I've just watched the full match on Sky Match Choice and here is my take on the game, what a great win for us, three very much needed points.

However we have have played a lot better than that this season and lost, having said that we still deserved to win the game although it was not one of our better overall performances IMO.

As for individual performances here goes: -

Forster - Did his job and overall a decent performance.
Kiko - Again nothing outstanding but he had a reasonable game.
Kabasele - A very decent game and his pace helped on more than one occasion.
Samir - Another rock solid performance.
Kamara - Worst game so far, he looked very lethargic especially getting back after going forward, hopefully the break will do him good.
Kucka - One of his best games so far, just a shame about his missed chance when clean through.
Sissoko - Has looked very good in recent games and long may it continue.
Louza - Fast becoming a major player for us, he has both tenacity and great ball skills, though sometimes he does lose his cool.
Cucho - A bundle of energy and two well taken goals, he gave another 110% performance and left it all out there on the pitch MOTM.
Pedro - Some great stuff from him but some careless stuff too, but hey he is still only 20 and he will hopefully cut out the careless stuff soon.
Dennis - He is still taking to much time on the ball and possibly over thinking to much, but overall did OK especially in the 2nd half.
Cathcart, King & Sema were not on long enough to rate, but appeared not do anything to let the side down.

All in all a deserved win and we have six more very winnable games left so it's onwards and upwards from here...

What a great result and frustrating as week as it shows we can do it. Aside from that **** showing at Wolves we've not been bad away from home albeit with Liverpool, City and Chelsea to come. The stark difference between yesterday and Wolves was incredible. The fight, passion and skill on show was light years away from Thursday night although I did fear the worst when we cleared off the line in the first minute
Foster was much improved, although could not have been worse that at Wolves. One dodgy kick and a decent save from Adams late on but didn't really have a lot to do.
Femenia. Questions need asking about why he went off on Thursday when 3 days later he's fine. Had an ok game but for an attacking full back he doesn't attack enough for me, quite often going backwards rather than pushing forward
Kamara. You can't fault his passion but his positional play sometimes is really not great. His pace gets him out of jail on occasions. Still a massive improvement on what we had before though
Samir. The best centre back at the club comfortably and was excellent yesterday. Benefits from having somebody quick to partner with in Kabasele
Kabasele. We all know he's got a howler in his locker but thankfully yesterday was one of his better days. Looked a good partnership with Samir and hopefully he can stay fit for the rest of the season
Louza. MOM. was absolutely everywhere and we know he can play a pass and do some of the prettier stuff but he put in some great challenges yesterday and that little turn on the touch line right at the end of the game was lovely to watch
Sissoko. I don't think he's been as bad as some make out but yesterday he was back to his best. If we are to have a chance of staying up he needs to play like this for the rest of the season
Kucka. Where did that performance come from. Shame he couldn't top it off with a goal but a very good performance all round
Dennis. probably the poorest performer of the day. He wasn't awful but he seems to have lost that confidence to attack defenders at pace and some of his decision making has not been great. Despite that he put in the hard yards defensively second half which was good to see
Pedro. He is just beginning to turn in to the player we all hope he's going to be. Finishing needs work but running with the ball and beating players in the last two games has been excellent. Should start every game now
Cucho. You got to love the little fella. A little bit like Forestieri in that respect. In and out of the side but certainly taking his chance currently. Interesting decision for Roy when Sarr is back. 3 from Sarr, Dennis, Cucho, King and Pedro. On current form I would bench Dennis and King
And finally, the fans. Superb support throughout. A little bit of gallows humour at the start but made a lot of noise
I've been to 3 of the last 4 away games (missed Wolves thankfully) and it shows we can do it with different kinds of performances. Resolute at United, same at Villa but with more attacking threat and yesterday when we played to our strengths and should probably have won by more.
Can we just a win a home game please

Strange, can't see anyone involved in internationals until the 25th March, plenty of time to get a few training sessions in this week and they can still have the weekend off before joining up with their national teams next week. Doubt they'll be joining up any earlier than Tuesday with PL and FA Cup games ongoing still.

I think we are good at fighting for the cause until we go behind. Once behind, all the fight and determination evaporates. I don't doubt that we would have been well beaten had Samir not made that early clearance.

First goal in these types of matches is usually pivotal especially during the ran to the finish. You could see the confidence flooding through us and if Kucka could of finished his chance we could of seen quite a hammering for the Saints.

There you go, a lot of you will no doubt think I am being overly optimistic for us and to a certain extent you might be right. However I genuinely believe that what I have predicted for WFC is not beyond the realms of possibility as all those games are very winnable IMO.

As for the other teams predictions I think that I have been very fair and I must admit I was quite surprised at their points totals.

At the end of the day it will be down to our head to head matches against our relegation rivals, which is what I have been saying for weeks now, and if I have got it right.....

I obviously hope you're right but we've lost eight home games on the spin and you're predicting we win 4 and draw 1 out of the last 5! If we do stay up it will be a lot close than you're suggesting here

Everton have some horrible looking fixtures. Somehow I ended up with us staying up!!!

Just watched the highlights again. I’m guessing based on the overall negative reviews on Dennis he must have had an absolute stinker in all the parts that didn’t make the highlights? Because he plays a role in nearly every single good attack we had. His pace and movement causes all sorts of issues for defenders and is perfect for our counter attacking play. I wonder if he’s (much like Sarr) a victim of his own success? If he doesn’t get a goal or an assist it’s automatically a bad game? Maybe also hampered by the ‘loose cannon’ tag he’s arrived with?

I like Dennis and I would be more confident of him scoring a 1 v 1 chance over King. Dennis is capable of doing some good things but like so many of us have said, his main downfall in recent games is his reluctance to pass the ball and try to do everything on his own. He's not a bad player, not by a long shot and he will only improve with time and games.

    Everton home - win
    Leeds home - win
    Brentford home - win
    Burnley - home - win
Crystal Palace - away - draw
    Leicester - home - draw

I mean potentially that is doable. We can write off the games against the top 6 sides.
I still think 4 wins against those around us and 2 battling draws is unlikely. We haven't yet showed convincingly that we are a battling side.
    I Imagine more like this:

Everton home Leeds home Brentford home Burnley - home 2 wins a draw and a loss.
Crystal Palace - away Leicester - home - A draw and a loss

So 30 points. I think Norwich barring some miracle are down and last
of us, Everton, Leeds and Burnley I think Burnley will have around the same number of points as us through mainly draws and losses
Everton and Leeds have more games in hand than us and I think they are better teams than we are so would predict they pull away and we end up down by at least 5-6 points. Sorry

Lol. We're only going to lose 3 more games this season after losing 19 out if 29 so far. We've also done superbly well in our winnable home games this season so I can definitely see us only dropping 2 points from a possible 15.

God, it’s that time of the season where TVOR starts his lists of games. I remember the last time we were relegated, we didn’t get another point after he started with that and the centre justify text option. Be afraid.

On the fans, maybe they could also not boo and then stay silent like a bunch of self entitled idiots if we attack the Rookery in the first half. This has been a thing as long as I can remember at Vicarage Road and it’s the oddest behaviour.

Considering our record when going behind, it would make sense for our stupid supporters to get behind them attacking the Rookery first half. It’s a lot to ask to look beyond their own weird childishness but you never know. Then again, these were the toys-out-of-pram throwers when we changed the walk out music to something less depressing.

It's negative posts like this that might lead to us getting relegated.

If we want to stay up, we have to believe that we aren't going to drop another point.

I mean, with the fixtures we have left, theoretically it's not exactly a push to suggest that we can get to 36 points, which should be enough to keep us up, but I'd be flabbergasted if we stay up by more than the skin of our teeth, we'd have to be very lucky to both pick up our form to such an extent as well as having every other team continue on the same **** run of form they are on
