Hopefully it's pretty pin point like Baah was on Tuesday to Bayo (almost didn't get it!) as Rajovic won't move much in the box.
An issue with having Bayo and Raj as your strikers is that you cannot play them as a 2 as neither of them are good enough to play as a 10 or 9 1\2 . It would be interesting to see if Doumbia could play in the 10 role tho .
Maybe this threat to bring him back is designed to get Brondby to put in an offer that we can't refuse....(basically any offer !)
Probably... why is it even being debated in public? How often do you hear clubs publically "umming and ahhhing" about cutting a loan short? They just recall them.
Beggars can't be choosers, recall him and get him on the bench ASAP. At least we can use Plan B then.
It's the season for loan recalls. Feel a bit sorry for the likes of Stockport and Walsall losing the league top scorers. Fine if they go back and help the parent club - but they aren't.
Apologies. My son has said today that Cardiff have spent over 3m on a forward who isn't as good as Rajovi*. He follows Scandinavian football religiously and he's usually spot on.
According to this the deadline to recall him was 11.59pm on 15th January. No idea if that's true. https://www.tipsbladet.dk/nyhed/superliga/broendby-fansene-kan-aande-lettet-op
I think we have to be realistic, as we have all seen he can definitely score you a goal off the bench. And he is better option than an 18 year old Doumbia, who has hardly played.
We are halfway through the season and Bayo has 10 goals, if he ends up with 20, would you still say he was crap?
I would call it a blip given his long term 1 in 6 record When Bayo amassed 2 goals between December and October what adjective would you have used to describe that goal return ?
We had this discussion about "service" yesterday. If the striker struggles to get good possession , which slows the attack down or gives a s.hit pass which also slows the attack down , and this allows a disorganized defence to recover then a striker shouldn't be surprised if his service isn't to his liking . A bad touch or rubbish pass is no better than taking too many touches . Unless you think Vakouns all round play is spot on ?
He's not amazing but he isn't too bad, he has his moments. As I have said somewhere else we have to be realistic, at the moment we are a mid to top half of the table Championship side, what do you expect? Are you waiting for us to sign a striker for £10 million, cos I don't think it's gonna happen.
I agree and it is not his fault that he is our option up top . That lies squarely on the owners that we are in this position
Very true and he has done 3/4 times but as said about the general ability is average although works hard usually. Of course we can do better but as you say that isn't Bayo's fault.
Nobody is dismissing the fine work they did in the early years but that’s all been undone largely by themselves over the past 4/5 years. Time to go
I have some sympathy with your opinion, all I am saying is we could be in a position that is markedly worse.
