    Who are you talking about?

I seem to remember that most of the proven lies, fake news and misinformation about Brexit came from remainers, who have much closer links to Billinaires and Corporations than Brexit supporting voters do these days.

This seems to be another area where the left has flipped, them being the ones supporting the interests of globalist corporations, and the ideology of extremists like Schwaub and Soros who are happily setting themselves up as the elitist rulers of an homogenised world in which no one will own anything, but will appear happy, or face being dissapeared because it will be inconvenient for them to express displeasure at the elites really smashing ideas.

Big money is VERY left wing these days. Or why campaign to remain in the EU. The only arguments being made by the left are fiscal, capitalistic and 'tangible'. There is no moral ideology in the left's remain/rejoin argument. It is all about money and power.

The biggest crime of the 1980s was not the closing down of the traditional industries but it was closing them down and not replacing them with anything, leaving whole communities to rot. Travelling from Doncaster to Sheffield on the train you had a depressing view of the former Industrial East side of the city, derelict and abandoned. What a waste, serves them right for living in the Labour supporting heartlands of South Yorkshire.

I give up on people like you now. It turns out the enemy was hiding within our own shores all the time.

  5. That was uncontrolled neo liberalism, practiced by Europe

Global corporations should never have been allowed to create that much damage to communities and peoples lives without consequences, and they are still free to do it today

But guess what, Labour and their sad middle class acolytes are more interested in cake.. no wonder the red wall stuck 2 fingers up

That’s mostly true, though during New Labour’s time at least people got functional services, health, education, social care across the board. But yes, like the Tories since Thatcher, they neglected the role of the state to create industry and opportunity.

Let’s be clear, this is no more happening now under Brexit than it was then. If you want state intervention and restraint on global capital, only Labour with the partnership of strong unions can do that, which is not to say that will happen. But if Labour get elected, you would at least get decent services and the governance of people who are not lying and enriching themselves at every turn. And if you don’t believe me, tell me who Andrea Rayner or Lisa Nandy’s friends are who would help themselves to millions through dodgy PPE contracts or the like.

All those lovely rumours on R4 about the fabled Sue Gray report and usage of the phrase "...devastating for the PM..."

  8. Suggestions that Johnson has briefed this himself so that if the final report can be nuanced he will be seen as exceeding expectations.

Fairy 'nuff. BUT we've got the report to come on lying to parliament - de Pfeffel's history. Notice I'm not mentioning the local election results. Nor the 300+ photographs of de Pfeffel et al at the work related meetings piss ups in Downing Street - you can tell they're "...unhelpful..." as how much emphasis was put into the "...nine minutes...birthday cake in tupperware box...." spiel.
