As someone who has never watched a boxing match in their life can someone tell me why this is a big deal? I get that one is a legend and one is a **** off YouTube but other than that...? Is it considered a circus because it’s a pro fighting a celeb and that’s not only dangerous but a blatant attempt to make money? Or are there other things at play? I’m intrigued.
It’s a bit like Leicester playing a Soccer AM team with a Champions League place on the line. Actually, not a Champions League place, you’d probably bottle that. Let’s say they’re playing for 5th in the Premier League. It’s like that.
Why wouldn't the greatest boxer IMO take bundles of cash off a bunch of morons who think that some bloke off the interweb could possibly lay a glove on said greatest fighter?. Seriously, if whassisname, landed one on Floyd then he would unleash a boxing tsunami the world has never seen .
I assumed it was a reference to the historical feud between Keith Floyd and Paul Hollywood over the type of bap used by McDonald’s in the “Fillet-o-fish”.
