I didn't watch the game yesterday, I've seen the highlights though, I have a few questions about Okoye, because he did seem quite promising in the Netherlands, first of all, do teams in the Eredivisie just not bother crossing the ball? And how much of Okoye's nervousness any time he's played for us is down to simply not playing? It can't be easy not playing for months and then being thrust into the team, I do wonder if he'd improve if he got a regular run if Bachmann (and possibly Hamer too as he might be ahead in the pecking order) got injured

 

The first goal was bad luck, the second goal he barely comes out to close down the angle making it easier for Long. His kicking was ok but he looked petrified when he was given it. He spilled a couple of comfortable saves. They didn’t put a lot of crosses in that I can remember but don’t remember him flapping at much.
God help us if Bachman gets injured because he looks far from ready. On his side is his age because very seldomly do you have keepers playing regularly at a young age

 

I didn’t think his positioning for the first goal was too bad. Just bad luck

 

They used to same about Bachmann when Foster was stinking up the joint. I particularly remember a difficult game in the cup for him against Tranmere.

Foster got injured in the Champo, Bachmann came in, looked great and we got promoted.

Game time is important.

Will it be just the 1 match ban for Bachmann? Said 2nd bookable offense on Sky, but it looked a red card 'challenge'
