Probably BS but a big yes from me! https://soccernet.ng/2024/12/wanted...g-nigerian-star-set-to-return-to-england.html
OMG Yes! Can't even allow myself to believe for 1 minute this could possibly be true. My word what a difference he would make to this team. Not sure we've got the peas though.
Always the bridesmaid is Kelechi, must be a reason for that. 5 league goals in this division last season Won’t really press Big name, talent is there and can finish but don’t see the fit.
Can't see it. He must be on a fortune after leaving on a free. Having said that he's decent but is he the high pressing forward TC expects.
West Brom currently have the top scoring CF in the league in Josh Maja - it's odd they're being linked with Iheanacho as he surely wouldn't even be a guaranteed starter there.
I thought I’d read they’d been taken over? I did think this but perhaps they’re feeling like they need to recruit in January. They may think top 2 is still achievable perhaps (I doubt it personally).
God bless you Unkie Dunkie ... Both We were in the prem when he left City and at that time Pozzo was actually spending, I was gutted that we didn't make a move for him and that he went to Leicester.
He is not coming as he doesn’t fit the profile …. Ask yourself if a player linked, has or currently plays in Belgium or one of the lower leagues across Scandinavia ? Is he 17 and playing in South America ? Has he had a serious injury ? If the answer is no, then they won’t have been identified by our world class, 24hr a day, 365 days a week, scouting network
Lead to believe this isn’t as fantastical as first thought - and tentative contact/enquiries have happened.
Good signing if we get him, lost his way a bit in Spain but I think was doing ok before he left??? I would have thought a lower end Prem team might have taken a gamble on him in January and is probably more likely imho.
Because his career is, essentially, failing miserably at this point? Didn't really do anything at this level last season, didn't really do anything in the Premier League the season before (aaaaand the same the season before that), Sevilla took a punt on him because he was a free transfer, and now he's not doing anything there either. The Championship looks to be his level at this stage.
From what I’m told, we genuinely were told we could have Delap when we asked at the end of last season - similar story with Parrott and Nwaneri. But not much can be done when someone comes in and offers huge money against our loan deals. Or Arsenal promoting a young player. Don’t think Iheanacho is anywhere near as advanced beyond mild exploratory enquiries.
