Is he allowed to play against us? Thought these days loan players were not permitted to play against their parent club?
Is it? A loan at a crap Champo club up against better teams week in week out when he's probably not at the level, I'd have thought a loan at a top half L1 team would be more sensible, although I guess beggers can't always be choosers
Are you asking whether a professional footballer would rather play football in the Championship or League One?
Unfortunately isn't Championship level, nor will he ever be. His best move would be to return to Ross County.
I think any professional would want to play at the highest level they possibly can. He's played minutes for a team much better than the one he's joined so he's probably thinking he's got a good chance of playing.
A better chance maybe. I’d be surprised if he becomes a first team regular. Whereas a top half league one side ….
I feel sorry for Huddersfield. S club with a proud history, an excellent pies. What have they done to upset us so much?
Amazing what one goal does. No one was that bothered when he left. Now questions being about letting him go . https://mobile.twitter.com/JordanWiemer/status/1627097346214440960
A player that is more than capable at this level but never given a chance and as a result we are served world beater Sarr every week.
He was and didn’t impress . Might be better with time and experience but hardly showed much when he played .
Has Sarr impressed? In comparison, Hungo had played probably 1% of the minutes Sarr has. I’m not saying he is the messiah, just personal preference to see a player giving a **** and earning a place in the team. Given a chance he might have been decent for us but he just didn’t get afforded the chance. Training and matches are completely different, Sarr must be an absolute God in training but it definitely does not translate to match day
As much as people hate Sarr and don’t think he does anything rightly or wrongly will always play .. TBH I suspect Martins has replaced Hungbo in the squad . Going out on loan getting games will be better for him than sitting in the stands . As I say no one was that bothered he had been allowed to go .
Cracking strike. He can now follow in Quina's footsteps and hang around for a few years living off one good goal.
Like when Forde got his hat trick for York . Good for the lad but a one off and with help from some poor goalkeeping .
I did cast doubts about it (admittedly when they had the old manager in charge; Warnock might be old-fashioned, but seems to have something about him still), but it does seem to be a sensible loan, get some gametime under his belt, then we can assess if he's ready to play a part for us in the near future, or if not, hopefully get some cash for him, because stagnating with us wasn't doing anyone any good
Just scored for Huddersfield who look on course for a vital win which puts them within touching distance of safety
That will get his fans on Twitter going ! 2-1 Huddersfield. If they hold on need a point v Sheff U or Reading themselves.
Well he didn’t exactly help himself with some patchy performances but Colin can get the best out of players as proven again .
In fairness he played less than 90 minutes of football for us in the league this season, I think he's only ever made one Championship start for us and was subbed off injured in the first half!
He came off the bench for us 7 times this season in the league, it was Brentford away 2 seasons ago where he came off injured
