Erm, what?! He worked hard when he wanted to, but spent most of his Watford career (albeit not the very end) having sulks and daydreaming when he should have been tracking back.
I reckon we should try and tempt him out of retirement on a short term contract to get us over the Xmas period and the AFCON EXODUS in January as I reckon he could still do a better job than any LB we have at the club at present.
I’m with you there, if Masina or Femenia constantly played with a scowl on their face and got angry all the time, there would be a high percentage of our fan base would automatically asses their ability as being 50% higher then they do now.
A born winner who had no place being at this club and hated everyone involved because he was the only one. My favourite moment was when he offered out some Stone Island wearing thumbhead and the bloke ran away quicker than Danny Rose.
Nowhere near outright legend status of course, but I think it's fair to say he ticks all the boxes to be considered a cult hero
God bless Ben Watson, what a professional. But in this case he should have let it play out, I'm convinced Jose would have gone into the crowd.
And yet still poor and inconsistent at dead ball situations! Was just better than anyone else we had once Abdi had departed. That said, loved the guy.
