How mad is it that he stayed with us, and what's more absolutely busted his balls for the club in every match.

POTS for me. Without him we would not have been promoted. You can't say that about any other player.

Well at the very least promotion has shorn up his value to us. If we’d not gone up then we absolutely would’ve had to have sold him to plug the gap down to the next level of PP, clubs would’ve completely bent us over given the circumstances. At least if he does go it can now be in our terms.

Without doubt. There's so much more to come from him aswell. Let's hope it's with us.

I really think he will be with us next season because he has said he would have been more than happy to stay with us even had we not been promoted. IMO the only way he won't be with us is if someone comes in with a "Vito Corleone Offer" that we can't refuse :D

The market is likely to remain suppressed, but clubs will still need players and it won’t stop them making silly (low) offers. A lot will depend on the player and his agent as well. Obviously we hold to cards to an extent, but it always becomes difficult once a player gets unsettled.

I was convinced a month or so ago he'd be off whatever happened. But like a sucker I've been convinced by his recent performances and a few run of the mill quotes attributed to him in interviews that he's up for another season here in the PL. Plus obviously he's only 2 years into a 5 year deal and unless there's some mystery clause that lets him speak to clubs this summer without Gino's say so I can't see us entertaining offers.

Yes given how many players across multiple clubs with a fraction of his talent down tools after relegation, the man is a legend for ploughing through a championship season playing nearly every game.

I was fairly disappointed with him at times this season, he often didn't seem to make the most of what are clearly his best attributes and the ability he has at this level to destroy whoever the left back he's facing is, but I do think that appears to have ended up being more of a tactical and confidence issue from the first half of the season with Ivic. He's unsurprisingly been much, much better in the 4-3-3 and playing more attacking football in the second half the season, and has gone from strength to strength and been our best and most important attacking player, as he should be.

I still think he has more to offer and needs to back himself more at times because it's clear that when he does he can be almost unplayable. Either way, it is now imperative we keep him now at least for this season to re-establish ourselves in the Premier League.

I couldn't tell if his early season form, where he continuously cut back and made the easy pass, instead of taking on his man, was Sarr or Ivic's fault.

Then I saw Sarr play under Xisco.

Having a player like Sarr under a manager like Ivic, was like the local dullard getting a Ferrari, and then keeping it covered, under lock and key in the garage.

Xisco set Sarr free, and he subsequently showed he's one of the best players to ever play in the division. And that was often on rubbish pitches against sides who were hoping to break his legs. Imagine how good he could be in the PL now he's more used to English football.

He'll stay as I can't see anyone being able to afford his £55/60+ mill price tag - in a way, signing him at such a large fee means no one else can afford him in the current circumstances. If someone was to offer a large fee he'd be off immediately but I think that would be at least another season away.

    Of course, he's staying.

He'll do one more season with us, then he'll be off.

in 14 months time (2022 transfer window) he'll be 24, perfect age for a move.

Hopefully with something like 15-20 G/A contributions under his belt and he can go for £60 million, thank you Izo.

Another no brainer, he has said he is happy to stay and unless we get an offer that is just to good to refuse, then stay he must.

We should surely sell both now, whilst the price is high, rather than offloading when we are relegated. Where’s the forward planning?

I heard that, very strange to hear both the reporter and Jim White refer to us as ‘a great club’ and for once give us our dues over our work for the NHS, etc.

Looked pretty good on the left to me, maybe he should switch sides throughout any given match, or even just play with a free role across the front for WFC.

Are these Senegal games friendlies? From a quick Google that looks to be the case and there’s apparently not another game of significance until September. Not sure what the point of them is.

Hopefully Isma will get a few more weeks to put his feet up and recover before the new season gets underway.

If teams like villa can throw 30m+ at players, then there will be a queue of teams willing to pay our asking price for Sarr.

He's gone, brace yourselves. Probably to someone like West Ham too.

Sarr definitely seems to have worked on his left foot. His first goal against Reading, plus highlights from last night, are testament to that.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they got £40m+ plus for s Zaha. I may be wrong but I don’t think we are in a position to say no to a bid of around 40-45m
