Due to a recent event WFC Forums staff would like to politely request that members refrain from using or lightly referencing terms that can be deemed as problematic for other members and visitors to the site. These include (but are not limited to):

    • Mental Health
    • Racism
    • Sexual Identity/Gender
    • Drugs and Substance Abuse
    • Vulgar Language
    • Implicit Stereotyping
    • Bullying (virtual, mental or physical)

There is of course, no barrier that forbids any discussion of these subjects, and they can of course open paths to lots of ideas and ways of challenging each subject in a mature and adult way. All we are asking is that members of this forum understand (as I am sure most do), that each of these are sensitive issues and some people may/will take offense if said subject is brought up and used out of turn.

This is a family friendly forum and we obviously want to attract as many new members or guests as we can now and going forward.

We appreciate all of your commitments to this forum and hope you understand why this has been raised. Let's keep supporting Watford FC going forward as a valued community of online supporters and ensure the future will always be bright, and always be yellow. :)

    Regards

    WFC Forum Staff

May I also add that any slanderous or libellous comments will be deleted as soon as they possibly can with a warning issued. This forum is used for the discussion of many a sensitive topic and we want that discussion to flourish. However, we are a family-friendly community that aim to treat everyone with respect- slanderous comments do not achieve this.

Just echoing the thoughts above, we understand that people are angry and hurt by what's going on and off the pitch at the moment but there's been a lot of inflammatory, insulting and potentially legally problematic accusations flying about in the past few days. As a team we will not tolerate that sort of behaviour with warnings/bans handed out to repeat offenders.

We are not trying to censor you, far from it, but there are certain topics you have to be very careful with what you say.

    Regards
