Valiant effort from the lads. Delighted that we've stopped the home rot and kept a clean sheet. Embarrassing for Everton - shame that with Leeds being so poor they'll probably be alright.

It was blatantly obviously within a couple of games. He’s the most one-footed professional I think I’ve ever seen.

Imagine being the only team not to score against us at the Vic this season, and to top it off it was against our stiffs!

Everton should be liquidated with immediate effect.

Probably one of the worst games of football i've ever seen. Two horrific teams.

No shot on target and whatever this is. The old to$$er will call it a great performance no doubt.

Everton and Masina are completely sh*t. Joao Pedro needs to improve some aspects of his game, but he is the most likeable player in our squad (bar Cucho and maybe Kamara).

Etebo played. Why didn't we use him in previous games? Kalu tried really hard and had some good moments, I can't see what harm could have been done if he played more in the recent games as a sub?

Watched it against my better judgment. How bad are Everton? We put out a very weak team, with nothing to play for and that is the best they could throw at us. Strangely satisfied with the clean sheet. Young Rob will not be getting too excited yet!

Ask Uncle Woy. Did we play well ? Or are Everton truly ***** and lucky there are three worse clubs than them.

More importantly. Any protests, chants or anything directed to gibbering Gino and deluded Duxbury ? I bet there weren't any. Did Woy get any abuse ?

When that lineup was announced I was expecting a right battering. To be fair we did alright overall and naturally Everton grew more into the game and dominated the second half but couldn't score past what is a weak side. You have to wonder how Everton are 2pts above the bottom three, but Leeds have hit a rotten turn of form and it seems they could be dropping with us and Norwich.

Cannot really complain too much, we drew, we didn't lose at home (shock horror) and we kept our first clean sheet at the Vic for over a year. Great save from Foster towards the end of the first half, Richarlison was bright but very off target and wayward. It's two points dropped for Everton, which probably won't mean too much in the final few games, but for us it was nice to no lose at home. Sema had some good runs, Kalu started brightly but faded badly as the game grew on. Masina was alright, Cathcart coming on instead of Morris was a shame - I just hope we get to see some young face on Sunday.

Be nice to finish our dreadful home form with four points - two will do. Going to take a side something extra special to beat our home record this season. Onwards and downwards, then hopefully upwards.

I know he wasn't amazing, but, considering it was his first game since the opening day, I thought Gosling did ok.

He's much better than Captain Tom!

The nob has not got a clue. When by a miracle it comes together he claims the credit. When it's all falling apart as it is most of the time he is in hiding. Just like Fuxbury. They should both be politicians.

Proud of the lads, what a performance. We're now only 1 (one) point behind our all-time lowest Premier League total, what a time to be alive.

Imagine if bringing on Etebo in the 88th min means we have to sign him now for like £6m and that was Hodgson having yet more banter

Credit where its due, most of the 'second string' showed more heart and fight than some of our so called stars have mustered this season.

Thought Gosling and Kalu gave a decent account of themselves given their exclusion all season, Ngakia played some lovely balls down the channel and looked ok defensively. Masina was Masina. Sema worked hard with little quality, par for the course.

JP ran all night, a few nice touches and carries, but really needs to work on his decision making and when to release the ball.

Bringing Cathcart on with 10 to go in a meaningless game sums up Roy. I can't wait to erase the last few months from memory when he's gone.

Why Everton didn't go up a gear is beyond me, game was played at pre-season friendly pace, when a win for them would have all but ensured survival.

Just think; if I had been a tiny bit more positive, a game of football might actually have broken out!

In football you can excuse a lack of skill or ability to a degree if the players involved show that determination. Our old sides had it. If the chicken hearted twits who sat this out or who give up when the score is against them like Kiko had some of that heart and fight we would not be in this mess. That's just one part of it of course.

That cobbled together, weakened side achieved two things our fully fit first team havent managed all season - our first clean sheet at home and the first point taken at home against the other 4 teams in the bottom five. Thats how bad Everton were. Unfortunately for the wider footballing world it looks like there will some how be 3 worse teams then them this season, though based on that performance and with Frank at t he helm I'm confident they will have another crack at relegation next season.

Good to see that Woy wasnt put off by all the changes in personnel and the evidence of his other 15+ games in charge and kept the same system that hasnt been working. I really cant wait for him to leave the club.

From us. Our loanees in L1 all played for relegated clubs or near enough. :D:eek:

  33. To be fair, the crowd did manage a solid 15 minutes of 'we've got the ball' interspersed with 'We'll give it back' at a decent volume. Shut the scousers up. Talking of which I had one behind me snuffling and wheezing like a geriatric bulldog.
