Appears the anti-woke and anti-cancel culture extravaganza that 'the people' were clamouring for has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales (around 400 for a the 3000 seat O2).

    https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/nigel-farages-anti-cancel-culture-25599254

A very scurrilous rumour is doing the round that towards the end of the simulation of a learned intellectual discussion in a Gammonspoons interview between the Orange Buffoon by Der Färager, non-bot, viewing figures dropped to around 400...

Not surprised at the lack of interest. The British speakers are the biggest bunch of pro right-wing rent-a-quote idiots you could imagine. Karl Benjamin is about the only one worth listening to, for generally factual content, but all of them, with the exception of Farage (who is as boring as f**k - no matter that he is right imo about the EU), make my skin crawl to some degree or other. Not that they say things that are directly of concern, but I consider them to be likely candidates for being the right wing equivalents to left wing extremists that I despise, who are all currently trying to push the Government further to the right with their open criticisms and unabashed promotion of Tice's new party.

I'm not saying the party is extreme right, but these people I think will not stop at a hard right, and Tice's party are more to their liking than the Conservatives.

But why your disgusting but all too common nazi insinuations regarding Farage? If you have any evidence, other than you don't like him, that he is a nazi, please let us know. I know you have asserted the same about me, without any reason to do so. If it is true you are of Ashkenazi heritage, why do you feel it is OK for you to fling such disgusting rubbish around? I wouldn't. It is the Labour Party and the left that has a problem with anti-Semitism, not the UK's right wing. Belittling nazi attrocities by reducing them to meaningless, unjustified insults does the anti-fascist cause no good. I don't mean antifa, who are the biggest bunch of fascists out there.

Uninspiring line up to say the least. The BBC trying hard as ever to keep the Nige profile high.

You do it again. What is your reason for such disgusting attempts to smear people as nazis?

Honestly, trivialising the nazis who were hunted down by the likes of Wiesenthal, the Klarsfelds, etc., in hunting down the true monsters genuinely associated with some of the most horrific and inhuman acts in human history. Again, you have done the same to me. Do you think you could dip your feet in the real world and stop being so offensive? Because, frankly, you are being very offensive.

Sorry chaps. Didn't realise this is another of those whinge against the world threads.

I'll leave you to it. If it helps people get frustrations off their chests, it must be doing something good.

    Achtung! Färagerbefehle:

    Fox News Link.

I really tried to listen to the entire "AQs?" Der Färager was on, but circumstances meant that I only caught the opening and final Färagerbefehlen of the shows. His opening rant was well on-form (ie utter cobblers) about the vax and highlighting his support for anti-vaxers by pointing out his solidarity with them by not having a booster jab but admitting he had the course of two previous jabs - so no confusion or mixed messaging there. So it looks like he'll be hitching his Festwagen to that of Lawrence "The Dessert" Fox's 'campaign'...

Claiming to be vaccine resister by only refusing your booster is pretty **** as defiance goes. Like being an anarchist on weekends and bank holidays only.

Yeah. But unquestioningly taking every vaccine as it comes up, when it is almost ridiculous to describe it as such, is pretty sheep like.

It is a vaccine in name only, and in reality it has become an effective prophylactic treatment, for which only 1% of the nation will be positively affected. The Government would save more lives if they banned smoking, banned alcohol, or rationed food in order to rid the country of obescity.

So which do you think should come next? Do you believe that the opinion of a health official should effect your consumption of these things?

Afterwards we can make 10mph the national speed limit.

Omicron is the thing that will break the pandemic, not the vaccine.

I would rather be a vaccine realist that a vaccine worshipper.

With inflation the price of squid ink has increased (and also the actions of greedy squid farmers milking the situation) - imagine the increasing number of zeroes you would need to convey the price...

Should a guy go unrewarded when he has galvanised a nation not just to do what other countries had done - defy the EU - but also get them to stick to their guns afterwards, when the bloc made its usual 'neutral' attempt to redo a democratic vote (which, in the past, has always ended up with the member state changing its mind for some reason, or even just simply being ignored, and their opinion worked around instead). I wouldn't have paid him anything myself, but given what he achieved, it is no wonder that his greatful admirers would sort him out with a few perks.

Or do you think that no one on the remain side of the fence was being incentivised to get out there and spread their anti British propaganda?

After all, "Stop Brexit Man", who is basically an icon of total failure, was staying in a £6million home, paid for by other losers, in the same street as Jacob Rees-Mogg, whilst he was campaigning outside Parliament.

So he was out-bourgeoising Farage, and he didn't even get what he and his supporters wanted out of it.

Maybe, if you are going to whatabout, try checking out who on your own side has been whatting, and how, before start making them look 33.3% worse than the guy you are trying to do down.

Stop Brexit Man was an impotent reactionary response to Brexit, and he was more than generously looked after by his supporters. Farage was literally the guy but for whom Brexit would never have happened. I'm not a fan of the guy on the whole, but he deserves a little respect and reward for that, from those who supported his cause, whether you like it or not. Just like the remainer losers who pocketed a small fortune in support for far less from their funding masters.

But as usual, its OK when the lefrt do it, but God help anyone getting a little cheddar for their hard work when it upsets those guys.

I wonder what the new party will be called and how much he'll charge the gullible to join it this time?

Note he insults Brexit voters here by claiming that they didn't know what they were voting for. How very dare he...

"In my opinion, I think when people refer to Brexit, they thought foreign criminals and torturers would be more easily removed from this country, well sadly they’re not.”

Don't forget the £200(?) administration/application fee he the party charged requested if you wanted to stand for election as a Brexit Party MP...

Bit of a switch for Nige to be calling for a second referendum. Seems fair - Rejoin versus Brexit 2.0. Let's do it.

Unlike many people in GB, most people in Ireland feel that they ARE the EU. They are part of a partnership of equals.

Ireland was never an equal under British rule. They were a colony and many of it's citizens were treated extremely badly by their British overlords.

Farage is beyond ignorant on the subject.

Well, well that was a rematch - Der Färager (spouting the usual cobblers) actually crossed sword with Claire Byrne back in 2019 (who does something really weird: she challenges him on his bollox):

Yeah, thanks for no link, but here is the interview he linked to in his tweet. She didn't shut him up at all and said exactly what he wanted to say...

Were you expecting her to agree with him on the first two points? The first of which was an opinion (and cannot be a lie), and the second (Lisbon treaty) is an absolutely fair point shared by many people in Ireland; which in law is closer to the truth than the point made by Byrne.

The brilliant thing about the angriest wire haired terrier on radio is that he just does not interview anyone who disagrees with him, unless he can turn them down, tell them what they are allowed to say or cut them off. It is the perfect platform for him, and good luck. He brings up some very important subjects, and says things about them that make you want to vote for them all the more, just because of how upset you know it will make him.

O'Brien explains here why he won't debate anyone in circumstances he does not control...

    https://www.lbc.co.uk/radio/present...s-obrien-iain-dale-wont-appear-question-time/

It's because he doesn't want to validate their racism. See what he is doing? He's won his "James O'Brien" styled argument before he even knows who he is talking to. It's not worth him debating, because everyone who disagrees with him is a racist and wrong by definition. Hoorah!!

His faith in evidence is admirable. The only problem is that his faith in his opinion as evidence, to a messianic level akin to "I say it, so it is", reduces his own argument to a matter of faith in his own faith, rather than a reliance on raw facts. He himself explains that it is not about intelligence other than knowing 'how to win', rather than being right, or open minded.

That, and a cut off button, make him the left wing equivalent to Mike Parry.
