Retired over a year ago but will be interesting to see who pays him £10k/week to sit on his fat ar5e, eat chips and watch TV for the next 2 years. In all seriousness I guess he must be continuing his "career" otherwise why allow us to buy out his contract (with presumably some discount) unless to allow him to sign for someone else ?
He was always overweight when he played for us, but it's incredible to think that he actually started off OK, he wasn't actually that bad against the **** teams we played at the start of the season
Apparently the former Watford and England star Danny Rose is going to join our promotion rivals Wigan. A massive coup. For Watford.
Do good pies up there ! https://the72.co.uk/2022/09/25/wigan-athletic-targeting-swoop-for-ex-watford-ace/
I would quote a famous song by Seal... but I am just glad he is finally off our books. We should of got him when we were originally interested in him (during our 5 season PL stint), he could of turned out a totally different player.
Last time I was at Wigan I'm pretty sure they gave away a huge jar of meatballs as the half time raffle prize.
He's willing to play in the Championship, which is good of him - but I see the report mentions getting him fit. Yes, that might be an issue.
He will play one game for them. A match winning performance against us where he neutralises Sarr and consistently beats him in sprints down the wing….and then he’ll retire. We will miss the playoffs by 2 points.
Well what do you know, after his incoherent punditry yesterday at the Newcastle v Spurs game, could we see our erstwhile full-back pull on an XXXXL shirt in the Football League in August...? Danny Rose One area of the Wrexham team that may be improved upon next season is at left-back, while Foster could be in the ear of his former Watford team-mate Danny Rose to join him in north Wales. The 32-year-old has been without a club this season having left the Hornets by mutual consent in September, but would bring a huge level of quality to the team. (YE GODS!!) Whether Rose would be open to a move to Wrexham remains to be seen, but he is certainly hoping to return to football. As a pundit for Sky Sports as Newcastle took on Tottenham on Saturday, he jokingly asked Magpies boss Eddie Howe: “Do you need a third-choice left-back by any chance?” Perhaps that would really be Ryan R's & Rob M's true Hollywood ending. Woody Allen must have known something. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=b...#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:ce4fbc0e,vid:jYn4tlHsFgA
If he does get a chance to join Wrexham I hope Danny doesn't turn up wearing what he had on yesterday. It might not give the right impression
