Numbers have dwindled badly.

 

Seem to be about 7 or 8 regulars now. How many did you have at its peak Moog?

 

I don't remember TBH K9. It was always a bit cyclical. It was about 5 when I posted the above.

When there are that few, the scoring system means that there's maximum one or two points different between first and last. it means it's much better to win on a day when there's fifteen players than when there are 6. It can define a whole month.

It's always frustrating if, say, I'm chasing Endean who's a point ahead over the month and I finish one place above him on a daily, but we get the same points.

 

10 per day would be a good benchmark to aim for. Come on semi regulars! Try and have a go.

 

Maybe mix up the categories a bit more? I’m on hols so not really bothering till I get back.

 

What would you suggest? The problem is that the quiz site is ancient and lots of the categories are utterly horrible.

 

Not sure what’s available, but history, geography, pop music by different decades, depending on how the site configures them I suppose.

 

It's really a horrible site and most changes tend to make it worse, but I'm open to trying things. Maybe from next month I can pick one day where we trial a new category each week.

 

It's also very American heavy, so history will be full of 'Which union general fought at so and so civil war battle.'
