More exciting. More unpredictable. Level playing field. More games. Just poorer quality football.
Those who sneer at football in this league presumably have no idea why supporters would bother to watch a live game in league one or below.

Cody Drameh has played 70 mins in the PL for Leeds this season, and Marvelous Nakamba played 905 minutes for Villa in the PL last season. Both were also very good yesterday.

I know Drameh has been suggested on here before in the transfer suggestions thread, but he's another one who'd have likely been a better option for us at RB/RWB than anyone we've had there this season.

I still think the division has become stronger / more competitive, together with us generally being a slightly weaker, certainly less coherent team. If you look beyond the top 6 there's also a decent amount of quality scattered amongst the mid- lower-mid table teams.

The division probably is slightly stronger overall, and we're probably 'slightly weaker' than the sorts of teams we were putting out early in the last promotion season, but compared to the teams we could put together from Bristol City onwards, it's no contest

...and because it's us, it will be a 60 point deduction, which could make the difference between 22nd and 24th place.

That's a good deal. 1pt deduction for every £3.5m of debt.

It will be our turn next season.

Let's take a 6pts deduction now as our points deduction will be a lot more next season. Plus the prospect of Administration looms large.

Women and Children in the Watford Lifeboats first.
We can only hope our club agent Arnaud 'mogi' Bayat, alledged money laundering and matchfixing case still pending, didn't recommend which Lifeboats to buy or we are totally sunk.

Jesus was planning to come back until he saw that Millwall vs Luton was a playoff decider. "First they celebrate my death and resurrection by telling children that a giant bunny rabbit laid chocolate eggs, and now these two ****s kicking off Good Friday? **** this", he muttered.

Joining @a19tgg and his fellow Hatters in hoping for a Luton win, on the 0.001% chance we go on a run and catch Millwall. Feel dirty.

    Way too optimistic.

    0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000001% would be a closer estimate. :)

    What a dismal game.
Have resorted to cleaning my silver trophies rather than concentrate on this rubbish.

Shame on our flimsy, festering fools that they are nowhere close to this mediocrity.

    Terrible advert for the Championship.

I know we're worse than both, by my god these two should be nowhere near the PL.

Burnley to be promoted later .

I see WBA are losing to Rotherham.

Seem to be as shambolic as us !

Dull game at Sunderland v Hull.

Wonder who else they have coming up to score goals against us.

Congratulations to Burnley. 2 defeats in 39 is a phenomenal achievement.

We have as many defeats in 2 games...

I would not have been one bit surprised to see them win the league and us struggle a bit when we beat them 1-0...but boy would I have been surprised to see the sheer gap between the two of us come April! Well done Burnley, the Championship record is still on for them too!

Taking 4 points off the best team in the Championship while spending the rest of the season mostly being atrocious.

    This is the Watford Way.

I remember in the 90s/00s we always used to get one or two decent results against a top team then lose to a lower one the next game .

If we’d have held on for a few more minutes we’d have taken 6 points off them. Ridiculous to think about

They played so well in that game aswell. Seems like that was the end point of giving any cares for most of them.

Not that we created much against Burnley this season, but we really struggle against the smaller teams of the division who can easily set up to negate us

It's nuts that if we had won just two of the many abysmal games we've hardly bothered in this season we would currently sit in 6th place.

I don't think it's dawned on some of the players that they've been **** this year until Saturday. They thought if they failed we'd still end up top 6 and be in the play off lottery. Which I've said for a while I don't want to be in, because watching us flunk them would be worse then finishing mid table.

The only piece of hope I have is we can rebuild a little and the players that stay now understand what isn't acceptable in future. And we play some of the youngsters a bit more such as Adeyemo. You can accept finishing 11th if it's with a squad that give a toss and have heart. Of course some things also need to change, like not getting mogi bayet crap in for dumb money, getting the right manager in, then sticking with them and dumping the right players.

I think Coventry set the blueprint on how to take points off Watford this season.

A team that I wouldn’t exactly be thrilled to watch week in week out and are inconsistent (but that’s understandable as this is only their third season back in the Championship after a long absence) but work hard to grind out results and aren’t bothered about the quality of the match, and who have developed together under one of the longest-serving managers in all the top four divisions - almost the opposite of us. I doubt many fans of Premier League teams have heard of Gy*keres even now and it seemed most of our players hadn’t heard of him up to that point. The only thing they have in common with us is they don’t score much - Gy*keres has scored or made the majority of his team’s goals this season, and had they had anyone else decent up front they probably would’ve won that game more comfortably.

Or if not Coventry, Hull for similar reasons - a game that looked a home banker even with a new manager in place (but the players should have taken that into account) but showed unlike in the last two promotion seasons we can’t be trusted to beat anyone in this league wherever. A result like Saturday’s had been coming for some time, even against two of the worst teams at the time Blackpool and Huddersfield when we were 3rd/4th, we laboured to two 2-0 wins and then we failed to beat Wigan at home from 1-0 up.
