Definitely wasn't his fault for the goal, made some vital saves tonight.

Bachman is a good shot stopper but there is more to being a decent keeper again tonight his kicking was terrible ,positioning terrible and please take that concrete out your boots so you can move your feet quicker

I thought he was decent for the most part today - interesting stat given on Hive Live, he's made the second most saves of any keeper in the Championship this season just behind Rotherham's.

Would have taken a point before the game, even more so with how Burnley started the first 10 minutes and while a point was probably a fair result its still a shame we couldnt hold on. A player released by Watford scores the equaliser which is just about par for the course. Theres nothing that can be said about the defending at that corner that hasnt been said already.

I havent seen much of Burnley, but do they always live that dangerously at the back? They like to play themselves into trouble. I.m also assuming that Barnes didnt get the memo about Burnley wanting to play football now as he seemed to go to great lengths to break up their attacks with his constant niggley fouling. Likewise Tella was lucky for not receiving further punishment for his stamp on Martins. He didnt need to stand on him and I dont think it was as accidental as he tried to make out after.

We potentially should have got more from the game but our decision making and final ball in and around their box let us down far too often tonight. We got into some good positions and nearly every time we slowed the play down or held onto the ball too long or turned into trouble or played a sloppy pass. Its easy to single Sarr out but in truth most seemed to do it tonight.

All in all, after the last two performances i'm feeling quietly confidant for about the first time this season that we'll make the play offs.

Gino's half the problem, injuries and our inability to keep anyone fit the other half. The teams that do well are generally the ones with a settled squad and we've had anything but. But yeah the summer was a total waste and the way we've had to bin off most of the summer recruitment in the last window would be comical if it wasnt so tragically indicative of the way this club has been run a times in recent years.

When can we stop this belief that refs always prefer the opposition? There’s no basis for it. It’s genuinely ridiculous.

One nice looking save early doors that only came about because he completely fumbled a collection on the floor most keepers make in their sleep. And another where a Burnley player hit the ball straight at him from about 2yds away. Hardly phenomenal (in my view).

Thought Louza for Koné was sensible. On a booking and trying to bring on a more experienced, decent passer on to try and help us keep the ball.

Don't think Martins would've come on that early if Sema wasn't still coming back from injury and Davis has proved time and again that he can't contribute anything past 60-65 minutes, leaving Bilic with the choice of a young weakling or an overweight looking Assombalonga. Such a shame as we were running out of gas but just don't think we had the viable options on the bench.

Only one that was questionable in my opinion was Kabasele for Pedro (but even he was on a yellow, has been out for ages and taken a couple of heavy tackles).

Ref was excellent tonight I thought. Must have been a ******* of a game to officiate given all the niggles and handbags going on, but he seemed to call most things right. Wasn’t afraid to get his yellow card out early or call the captains over for a talk. Looked far more in control than some of the weirdos we get in the middle.

Kone looked like he was tiring and Ken just coming back from injury maybe couldnt last the full match? Given how many injuries we've had I dont blame Bilic maybe being overly cautious in that regards. But agree that given how physical and niggley the game was it maybe wasnt best suited to Louza & Araujo

As disappointing as it is to concede so late, if they were going to score best they did it in the final minute as any earlier and they probably would have scored a winner

It wasn’t a foul. Martins dropping himself to the floor was naive and the act of a pussy rather than being strong and holding the ball up. **** all to do with the ref - Martins is crap generally and he lost possession that led to the corner.

I thought the ref was decent and I have a pathological dislike for all refs, umpires, line judges.

I was worried that Hoot was playing right into that hideous **** Barnes' hands by flapping his wings around at him.

Who said he was a poor man's Mr Tumble?

As much as I dislike Zaha he is streets ahead of Barnes as a footballer. Barnes is a Grade A windup merchant par excellence.

The Owl was lucky not to be booked.

I thought the ref was actually very good on the whole today, especially considering the constant 5hithousery on show. He managed to see through most of it, which is a change.

The only time I thought he really dropped the ball was not booking Brownhill in the first half when he took out one of our players as they were running down the touchline.

They did win. I switched off after 94 minutes, as I knew we’d hold out for the last 90 seconds or so.

Can’t wait to spend my winnings.

Watching Burnley's fans & players getting worked up in the second half , i thought good let them have a taste of the ***** they have served up over the past how many years!

Think that might be a bit harsh in this instance and you have to give credit to Burnley they went after the game in that second half

Apparently that was a complete fabrication. It was only a record since the Championship was ‘rebranded’ as such. The second tier record is 14.

Irrespective of the result and the late disappointment, I was delighted that this Watford team stood up to Burnley’s physicality and sometimes outdid them. I didn’t think they had it in them.

Sitting back at 1-0 has never worked for us, will never work for us yet we still try it.
    Definition of insanity.

That being said, all in all an OK performance from most.

Agree completely. Bachmann made a couple of great saves - especially the one with his foot from the shot about 1 yard out.

Kabasele did nothing wrong at all - he got a decent block in and a toe end on the ball to break up a dangerous attack.

I was disappointed to see Ken go off - I thought he played really well. I would have replaced Sarr rather than him. Sarr did very little really.

Great point at Burnley! We could only dream of such a point at such a mighty ground just a few years ago, yet here we were going toe to toe with the (I don't know what their nickname is- clarets?)

Just amazing. Buzzing now. Love this football club!

I know, right? Most fans can’t accept that Bilic is coaching the team poorly. The idiots are still clinging to the insane notion that having the best players out injured for most of his tenure is some kind of excuse. Pucking Fricks.

What you have said is a SMALL PART of some sane reasoning for what we are witnessing. But it’s nowhere near a totally valid excuse for Bilic having no game plan, patterns of play or tactics. If you can’t grasp that very basic part of football coaching, then no amount of poor attempts at ‘clap-back’ replies change that.

And I repeat again - you got really riled up when @wfcmoog called you out for being taking offence to something he wrote. So why (again) do you feel empowered to think it’s okay when you display silly behaviour such as the above?

I won’t hold my breath as I really don’t expect the reality of your lack of self-awareness to smack you in the face any time soon.
