    Any fans out there?

The League has been exposed to the wider world in the last few weeks for both right and wrong reasons, depending on your outlook. I'm talking about the lifetime ban of Donald Sterling.

For those of you who aren't in the loop, Sterling (owner of the Los Angeles Clippers) was recorded telling his girlfriend that he doesn't want her bringing black players to the Clippers' games. Absurd, I know. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver responded by imposing a lifetime ban on Sterling from anything NBA related, and will be forcing him to sell the team.

Obviously the large majority feel as though this is the right move. But there are also those that feel as though, regardless of Sterling's views, that the punishment is excessive given he was caught by someone eavesdropping.

    Any opinions on this?

In other news - the 2014 playoffs are amazing.

As soon as it hit mainstream media, there was no other way it was going to go.

I think the main thing was the fact that whilst he didn't mind his young, totally not gold digging girlfriend/wife sleeping with black men, he didn't want her seen with them.

    That's pretty out there.

Been following the Charlotte Bobcats recently, only because their old name is coming back to them for the next NBA season- the Charlotte Hornets :D They're owned by Michael Jordan as well so it's not too bad a franchise to go for. That said, they have just been dumped out of the play-offs unceremoniously by the Heat (who I wouldn't be surprised if they won their third straight NBA title in a row).

First round playoffs were unbelievable. Still got a feeling the Clippers may win the whole thing.

Clippers absolutely dismantled OKC last night. It was brutal.

Love seeing Hibbert flounder so miserably as well.

If CP3, Griffin and Jordan all carry on as they are, they look unstoppable. Not to mention they have a first class coach in Doc Rivers.

Clippers-Spurs Conference finals I think, which will be crazy.

Wow, that Clippers Warriors series was amazing. For the Clippers to top it off with total mastery of OKC in Game 1, it just got surreal.

Still though, I don't think the Clippers have what it takes to be Champions, although this racist stuff may have galvanized the team to being in a different state of mind. We'll see.i hope I'm wrong! I'm loving this Clippers and LA Kings tandem run.

The Heat still look the part of champs... Spurs you can never count out, either. Everyone else are wild cards at best or just a few losses away from 'goin fishin'...

I feel sorry for the guy but 0-0 the other day was hilarious.

Literally anyone but the Heat to win please. The East is shambolic compared to the West, seems really unfair that all these great Western Conference teams have to battle it out, whilst Miami just cruise to the finals.

Want Durant to get a title, but can't see that happening this year. Spurs or Clips are my only hope.

I don't know if I've ever seen a sportsman go from relatively dominant to absolutely hopeless in such a short space of time. It's comical.

No points is fathomable, but zero rebounds when you are 7'2...that actually seems like quite an achievement.

    Haha, no doubt.

The Pacers looked so good early in the season...way better than they had a right to. They looked much more like they were supposed to late in the season, but have found their form again and I think they did it against the Hawks, right? Their regular season games with the Hawks were awesome. Anyway, I really enjoyed all the first round playoff series this year, though the officials had too heavy a hand in many of the games.

I second the 'Anybody but the Heat' comment above!

Can't argue with the selection at all.

Looks like a fishing trip helped Hibbert rediscover his mojo somewhat. Not shocked to see OKC come back and tie the series, and I'm looking forward to Portland and San Antonio this evening.

It'll be tough for this round to match the drama and entertainment of round 1. I think Miami go all the way again, unless Durant absolutely kills it.

Crazy collapse by OKC in game 4, should never have happened. Some pretty bewildering plays drawn up by Brooks. And Westbrook needs to stop trying to be a hero down the stretch.

Damn. I didn't realize OKC lost that one. I left home during the 3rd having watched the Thunder absolutely dominate every period thus far. That's an incredible collapse. They were so comfortable I didn't even bother checking the score all evening.

It was a wonderful finish if you're a Clipper fan!

Two meltdown finishes in a row for the Clippers. They just aren't a championship caliber team at this point. The sad thing is, with the coming legal debacle over deposing the Sterling regime, it's likely the whole team will be allowed out of their contracts, so the whole squad will be blown up and all the players shuffled off elsewhere. It could very well be the end of one of the most entertaining teams to watch in the NBA. **** you Donald Sterling!

Anyone would think you are a bitter Lakers fan......

Great series though, even in losing I though Clips were great. It mainly came down to a few crucial mistakes here and there. And KD and Westbrook taking turns in going nuts.

    OKC-Spurs should be fantastic.

Think OKC will be too athletic for the Spurs.

Urgh, I'm a long time Laker hater. Usually bitter Laker hater because they always seem to win... There are at least two people who no longer talk to me due to my Laker hate. I'm glad of it, too!

Soooo glad for a change this year and to see the Lake show founder and the Blake Show fly high!

Said this before Ibaka got crocked. Different ball game without him. Spurs looking pretty impressive so far, it must be said.

Currently watching Indiana put in some strong work against Miami.

Great series between Thunder-Spurs. Gutted OKC are gone, but Spurs are just a brilliant team. I hope they crush the Heat.

Aside from Miami, the East is a complete joke compared to the West.

Spurs are robotic and it's scary. If anyone can douse the Heat, it's Pop, Duncan and the Spurs. I never got over the Thunder eliminating the Clippers... :(

Same Fitzaldinhio. Once Houston went down I've barely watched a game. Still sickened by elimination.

If the Clips had own, they might have played today. As it is for LA fans, there was a USA friendly at 11am, LA Galaxy v Chicago Fire at 1pm, and at 5pm LA Kings vs Chicago Blackhawks game. As a Cal fan, I squeezed in the collegiate rugby championship before the puck dropped. I don't know where a Clippers game would have fit in...

At one point, I had two iPads streaming Galaxy match and Cal Rugby match while the USA post game show was on TV... Ridiculous!

Spurs just incredible. Arguably the best team of all time. They are huge lesson to everyone about the importance of continuity and teamwork.

Still loving the Lakers **** season out west... Best news of all is that injured Kobe will rehab his shoulder this summer and come back to ruin a third consecutive Lakers season next year.

But seriously...how about those Warriors? They'll get smoked in the playoffs, I assume, but great entertaining ball!!
