Arsenal (TV) and Leicester (Europe )have been moved to 2pm on the Sunday. Chelsea mid week game will probably be on a Wednesday now . https://mobile.twitter.com/WatfordFC/status/1440692370329124875
Thanks @wfc4ever . Might be an idea to keep this thread updated exactly for this reason especially for people going to games.
Just the 5 on TV in December . Cure more world wide embarrassment! https://www.watfordfc.com/news/fixtures-december-matches-selected-for-tv
A mouthwatering Wednesday evening encounter with Burnley. And it's LIVE. Who is getting sacked for scheduling that?
Is that when all the games are on ? Or just Amazon fixtures .. Probably getting us both out of the way so they don’t have to show us again .
I genuinely believe they’ve picked this game just so the modern day fan can marvel at the football version of the Harlem Globetrotters spanking in 7 or 8 goals whilst the commentators furiously masturbate over “one of the greatest goals you’ve ever seen!” When someone like Foden uses Danny Rose and Craig Cathcart as human cones whilst bending the ball past Foster who’s holding his camera in one hand and looks at it as he shoots saying “what a geezer Fodes is, absolute baller!”. And old muggins here will still be paying his sky / BT subscription money to have the joy of watching it. Merry ******* Christmas. Ps - not sure I’m fully over the game on Saturday.
It seems most here don't like him but Jenas actually went up in my estimation when I was watching the game on TV last Saturday. True, he does have a bit of a slappable face, but he made some good points about how we should have approached the game and the mindset was all wrong, and in fairness he's not someone who only played for the big clubs and knows nothing about a club like lil ol' Watford, he played in both the top two tiers against a wide variety of opponents. I still wouldn't want him to succeed Lineker on MotD for sure - he's probably one of those who works better as a co-commentator than as a pundit.
They said on 5live it was like a team not playing for a manager hoping he'd be sacked rather than a fresh start under a new man at home to a top team. I don't think anyone can quibble at what any pundits said about Saturday's performances tbh.
Well...who do they want then?! What Ranieri said about them doing the total opposite of his plan was...concerning, I'd like to think we'll look better once Ranieri has the whole squad together for longer, but I'm not holding out much hope
Jenas is one of the better of an excruciatingly bad set of pundits.....not that there's much competition.
Friday January 21: Watford vs Norwich City, kick-off 8pm* Friday night thriller ! (Unless either team are in a cup replay )
Nothing for most of the remainder of the season: https://www.premierleague.com/news/2533700?sf254517123=1 I reckon this must be the fewest times we've been shown on TV in recent PL seasons. 3 Burnley games in a month though...
I guess that will be a midweek game, hopefully with a bit of time to prepare. Would be nice to slot in between our "winnable" games with Leeds and Brentford.
Dyche's sexy "gravel" voice drives the women mad with lust... hence the need to show more him on television.
Burnley are only on the once at home to Southampton, the other 2 are rearranged dates as they fit in all the fixtures that were postponed mainly due to COVID.
Everton game Wednesday 11th May https://mobile.twitter.com/WatfordFC/status/1511025807350800390 Leicester game - 2pm on Sunday 15th. Not on TV.
No other dates I guess . Loads of games the mid week after too and some to still be arranged . https://www.premierleague.com/news/2562266
I suspect the EPL, by making this the 36th game of the season, hope that it will be a dead-rubber and Everton will be safe by then. Play the match any earlier and there would be jeopardy and a risk for Everton. It could still backfire on them, but everything must be done to ensure Everton don’t go down. That would be terrible for all football fans and the Premier league brand.
What a joke or a rearrangement. It's put another dent in our fading hopes of survival as it gives Everton more games to pull more clear now. If it was closer we could of closed the gap. All we can hope for now is Everton continue to be crap (they have Manure next) and we somehow pick up our home form.
We’ll be miles clear of them by that point. The EPL and it’s live will be sorely disappointed by our newly found super home form!
What a pain, first home game I will have to miss since 2014. Booked a trip to Cornwall around the fixtures, other people involved, can't do much about it. This absolutely guarantees we will win.
