Can't help but think those fans in the premiership who don't follow the championship may think he resigned in order to find another job, not due to poor form. As if West Brom tapped him up and forced him to resign and then be employed so they don't have to pay compensation. Typical premiership sofa fans.

Just coincidence..but then Zola has managed in the Premier league before.

Be a bit risky for them.

I doubt Baggies fans would be too happy unless he got the best out of Vydra.

The impression you got from Zola's letter was that he might take a break (like he did at West Ham), evaluate everything then come back when it's right for him, rather than going straight back in with triple the pressure from day one.

Agreed. He'll have some time off.

I disagree, taking time out of management doesn't make sense to me as I feel he would be better off continuing a setup elsewhere be it WBA or another club. I have no doubt that Zolas aims are to be a successful football manager. I think it would serve him better to get straight back into it. My only concern for him is does he have the gusto to go from one club in crisis to another and achieve his aims. As clubs with vacancies at the moment are generally in some kind of trouble.
