Yes there is and it's a very good service. Much better than the bus service at Brighton for instance. I drove this time but have got the train in the past and used the bus service and thought it was excellent.
Their support at home though is worse than ours

I was in the home end with friends who live locally. Watford fans were much louder than the homers, who only got interested after they equalised. Nice to hear the old Allan Smart song revived for Porteous.

A lot of that can lead to extra costs too - it's not pure profit. And ultimately I think it's a sporting decision too. We could have easily given away fans the whole Vic Rd End, certainly outside of the PL, but there's no need to if it means the opposition gets more support.

I actually think Ivic was unfairly treated by WFC!!! He saw us through a period when the players we had available were just as bad as we have had with our current injury crisis and we did Okay. I know we were ultra boring under his regime, but he did a great job with very limited resources.

Could you be any more vague?

The role of a head coach as far as I am aware is to: teach skills, tactics, team selection etc, undertake training, mentoring, man management, identify strengths and weaknesses. What else should they be doing?

Also, no I don't believe I have used it incorrectly here.

Okay Bilic has been outspoken about wanting some roles but we don't know what was said and what went on behind the scenes at the club. Perhaps the club just couldn't find suitable, available and willing targets at this time. We did sign 7 players in the January transfer window. We didn't exactly do a Swansea or Everton.

You have. You absolutely have. I simply stated that coaches have a limited remit at Wfc which means they don't build sides with an identity. You disagreed. I listed examples of previous coaches and asked you to select one that doesn't fit my statement.

All you had to do was either name one who doesn't fit the description I made, or admit you were wrong.

There's no 'burden of proof' at issue here.

Well, I've actually been quite specific but you've forced me to dumb it down quite significantly because you're arguing with things I've completely not said.

Perhaps I misunderstood you here but since you have clarified a bit more I think I understand where you are coming from however the role of a head coach is very different from that of a manager. These days the roles are separated out into coach and DoF. In my opinion our DoF ain't great and I've voiced that many times before which could be the problem here although the coach should be absolutely clear where the squad is lacking I.e. lack of leadership, lack of pace at right back for example.

I perhaps should have been less abrupt and asked to clarify a bit more. Apologies, its been one of those days!

Right, but when our coaches give a clear shopping list but get it filled by this guy:

Then it's not their fault that our teams don't develop.

F1 bus from outside the ground. We were back in the town 20 mins after leaving the stadium. Agree about the rest though, awful place to watch football.

Even in midfield when the ball was bouncing, not once did we put in enough effort and we’re out fought for the ball. The result was Reading settling up anattack.

I'm convinced that the defensive solidity he drilled into the team was key to getting us promoted. Xisco built on it to make it more fun, mind, but that team was ridiculous defensively.
