I like how they show his blooded knee to show the level of hurt. I've done worse than that running down the canal path in the dark.

Odd take, considering he was dragged 100m and threatened with a machete. I don’t think the point was ever that he was seriously injured, but if that carries on someone will be for sure.

The cut knee is also very odd considering the 100m drag, I would have expected a h*ll of a lot worse. Maybe it was across grass?
I agree though, it's a nasty crime to snatch any belongings off of a person, whether that's an expensive bike or the latest Iphone. The crime epidemic is becoming very brazen now. Maybe in part because the Police are tied up unsticking people from motorways.

Well he’s tough pro cyclist, not a poncey footballer feigning injury.

One of the tallest stories I've ever read.

    60kph? Dragged 100m? 15 inch knife?

The only thing missing is the part where his 9 inch throbber fell out of his shorts.

    File under: liar.

You have to regularly get your throbber out in the pro-peloton. Cyclists racing up to 300km in a day have to pretty constantly drink eat and piss to keep going. It helps to have a decent throbber to stick it out of the Lycra and aim your pee stream at the gutter. At an average of over 40km it’s a skill it takes a while to learn I tell you.

But this happened in Richmond Park, so there would have been witnesses.
