Pozzos selling Granada

    I read somewhere it was for 51% not all the shares

    My interpretation of the statement was that this takeover is as a financial investment but that the Pozzos would remain involved. I don't think they have ever been as hands on with Granada as they have with us - certainly not since they adopted us anyway.

    For what it's worth I wouldn't take any of the current lot (besides those we already have ;)). Didn't rate any of them - especially the defence - when I saw them against Valencia.

    Hope they stay part of the family and it makes sense with regards to loans for visas. My interpretation is that they will no longer sell players to us but we have money now so there would have been less point in Granada buying a player to sell/loan to us.

    No idea, but still pretty mad too. I can understand us costing less because they probably took on a lot of debt and other cost involved as well, but £12 mil seems cheap still. Granada must surely have little debt and assets worth more than £28 mil!
