    Watford played at St James Park, Exeter on 7 Sept 1912 so probably there and not Cassio Road.

    Correct. I worked it out the same way. Looked up who/where we played that day.

    Well, we haven't played this for a while, have we?

    Watford have played in front of this terrace, but never at this ground - pick the bones out of that.

    This is the FC United of Manchester ground Broadhurst Park. I'd never heard this before, but apparently the terrace pictured was transported from Drill Field, the old home of Northwich Victoria, scene of arguably Watford's most ignominious Cup defeat.

    Sorry, yes it's FCUM. A nice enough ground, but in a pretty dull area.

    Drill Field is number 1 on my list of grounds I never went to and sadly never will.

    No, me neither. I was going to very few away games in ‘77 so I followed the 3-2 horror at Northwich from a safe distance.
