When I use the quote buttons more than once on a post, quite often some of them appear on the next post I make, because they have not unticked themselves automatically. I then have to go back and try and find the ticked post and remove it manually and of course edit the post they have wrongly appeared on!

Can this be sorted out at all?

Thanks for your help, but as I haven't got a clue what you said, being a complete computer numpty, I will have to continue with the manual solution when it happens :sad3:

It does it on both my iPad (Safari) and laptop (Chrome) meister. Surely it has to be forum related?

Hmmm, ok, may just be my company then. It's Websense again and says it's blocked for "adult material".

Can access pages 1 and 2, just not page 3. (Are there some The Sun boobies on there?!)

Not to worry, I'll wait until we get to page 4 and pick it up again then.

    Ah Websense.

Piece of chit that is. I think my page numbering and yours are different, probably due to the number show on a page in your preferences. changing that might fix it.

We use websense here and its ok to me. I've had issues with them before. Someone reports something and immediately it's put on their no go list. Or in this case someone has reported adult comment or it's picked up on a word and logged it as adult and your administrator has configured your browser to block adult stuff. (Killjoy, it's what the internet is for after all).

We can request web sense unblock it but in practice it'll be well after the match before its done anyway.

I'm set to 20 posts per page I guess.

No worries. Don't bother raising it. As I said, I'll just pick up on page 4.

    Thanks.

Having problems with lack of responsiveness loading this site on home PC. Mainly on Chrome but also on IE11. Win 7 PC. I have ABP but have this site EXCLUDED so I do see your lovely (!) ads. Not experiencing the same issue with any other site.
Essentially, whenever a page loads, it is several seconds before I can click on anything. I usually go in to the New Posts link (which I understand will look in a database which threads I have not kept up to date with, however it is also exhibiting the same behaviour if I click directly in to a subforum, or similar behaviour if I visit with IE11 NOT logged-in. Occasionally Chrome puts (Not-responding) at the top of the tab, but usually rights itself a few seconds later.

    Any ideas?

Have cleared caches etc. and I use C Cleaner.

I get the same and it seems to be a slow server connected to the 1881 coach ticket. I've temporarily disabled it (it's not working at the moment anyway), does that improve matters?

No more issues here. Might be worth dumping cache & history and rebooting. Might be something else in the background?

I've had a go with the settings, but I think it needs a bit of coding. SM#16 is your man for that sort of stuff.

I can't seem to send private messages. Get an alert saying I don't have permission to access the page.

Have sent them before so used to be able to?

Likely there's a cookie issue if it's just you affected as it checked to see if you're logged on. Usual logout dump cookies restart should fix it hopefully. It;ll tell you if you've reached your inbox limit or don;t have enough posts which are the only other prevention measures I think.

You've now moved up my list for suggesting such a thing

Use it at work. Yeah I know IT can see etc but just so it stays off the immediate history list on the machine at least.

Complete and utter waste of time unless you're just hiding porn browsing from your partner. Any networked browsing will go through a server and it'll keep a list of where you've been.

In fact using private browsing modes will only flag up your activity to the IT department. You're better off buying them a pint every one in a while and keeping in their good books. IT are as powerful as HR and slightly more useful.

I regularly use incognito for my work anyway to avoid server caching when testing our various sites so I'm in it more than not.

When you click on the multi-quote button and quote a few posts, once that post has been submitted shouldn't the multi-quote check boxes be wiped?

I'm constantly finding I multi-quote once, then later I'll multi-quote again and it will still include the earlier multi-quote ticked posts. Am I supposed to go and uncheck them all?

Permissions improve along with forum contributions. It's a simple way of preventing spammers.

Thought I'd bring this to your attention. "This site may be hacked".

Also, the link is blocked at work.

Yeah when's that getting sorted Meister? What did SM16 have to say?

I'm sure it'll be costing you hits.

The redirect to filestore.com is still happening.

What's happened to vBookie? It was there earlier, even the closed events aren't showing the lists.
