The many saints of Newark wasn't great, but it has made me start re-watching the Sopranos/boardwalk empire which is always nice

The Torquay Utd episode on the Netflix series Losers is worth a watch.

Watching "Maid" with Mrs. D. You know you've got a good one when you get frustrated for the character and need to watch the next one ASAP.

Just finished this. Quite enjoyable, and the characters are for the most part very realistic/well acted. Lots of "yeah, I can relate to that" moments too.

Foundation is like a cross between The Expanse and The Tudors.

    Bloody brilliant so far.

It's very po-faced compared to the books but that's no bad thing.

Disappointing to hear. I guess Sopranos was a magnum opus and any attempt to follow it up would disappoint.

BWE was very good, but it seemed a bit rushed in the end, although the story wrapped up very nicely. Still sad about Chalky.

Only murders in the building was a fantastic watch. Hammering through it in one sitting. Good to see Steve Martin back to his very best.

Just finished this. Was fantastic. Fell away a little in the last two episodes but overall, an excellent watch. Hamish Linklater was simply sensational as Father Paul.

I love how he talks... it's sort a mix between soft and short of breathe. I think him along with Hawking and Lovelace will always be people to aspire to be like.

He’s an incredible communicator. I’m always on the lookout for shows about cosmology, astronomy, astrophysics etc.

Unfortunately most of them are American, so there’s lots of fast cuts and 10,000 different physicists per episode talking very loudly and enthusiastically.

Weirdly I come away from watching Brian Cox’s stuff feeling very reassured and certain about my own mortality. It makes me consider how truly insignificant I am and how all life on this planet will come and go in the blink of an eye… for some reason I find that very beautiful, life affirming even.

I can’t remember who said it, it was definitely someone who knows their stuff acting-wise… but they said that Paul Whitehouse is the most talented actor they’ve ever worked with. My only criticism of the magnificent The Death of Stalin was not enough Whitehouse!

Oh no it actually was Depp wasn’t it!?

I’ll have to downgrade him from being an utter **** to just a massive tool.

Sensational show, definitely one of my favourites. First few episodes may seem a bit slow, but once you get to know the characters it’s phenomenal.
