Adam Parkes on trial with Bromley with a view to a loan deal. Dunno how long for, would have thought League 2 would have been a logical step for him after a very good spell towards the end of last season with Barnet
That's not how we do things here. Whack him on a new deal, give him a series of loans that don't push him and then release.
Next stop: the Italian 3rd tier, where he doesn't speak the language and the team in question have a good keeper already, and then off to the Portuguese second tier where he'll have the same issue

Dante Baptiste was offered a deal at the end of last season along with these guys but it looks like he's decided to move on.

The most sickening thing this summer for me has not been the odd movements made in the transfer market but losing three of the brightest prospects from the Academy. A real body blow. When one thinks of the money saved by not having to fork out for a signing or indeed when they do move on the money earned. Sorry to be so pecuniary but that was what the Academy was always for even under GT. Not to mention the immense pleasure fans have when seeing one of their own so to speak play for the first team.
The club no doubt did all they could to keep them. Given these clubs have to pay almost nothing for them, they're free to offer bumper contracts and large financial incentives for their families. Imagine Galvez probably got offered upwards of £5k a week to move
