You're not the only one in a minority. I for instance don't consider we will be relegated. I am not even sure we're in a relegation fight at this stage.

[QUOTE="lowerrous, post: 3320329, member: 157"Bachmann was lucky to keep his place after the last game, he has to be dropped again now. Another piece of brainlessness costing us points. Andrews and Asprilla were both very wasteful again. [/QUOTE]

Hang on, I thought it was all Andrewa’ fault on
    Wednesday night???

It’s a reset. I can’t get enough and will clap these guys off week after week. Our fans are too entitled. We don’t have a right to beat anyone at home.

The first half performance was a lot better today . It almost took me by surprise the intensity that they played with. Chak has another influential game until he was forced off. We then reverted to type in the second half with the hesitancy and backwards passing .

The team seems low on confidence and they are not shooting like they were earlier in the season . I don’t have any faith in us scoring .

We were unlucky to lose as Coventry did precious little but it’s all a bit academic as we really needed a win. feel , given we are in significant danger of being sucked into a relegation battle that Val is likely to go now . Maybe not if we pull off a win vs Birmingham but we shall see.

I think Brum will go into the game next week knowing we are a soft touch, and a great chance for three needed points. Our lot will no doubt oblige and roll over at some point. It could also be a case of lose and VI is gone, in which case this could also play on the minds of the players. We basically need 1 win and three draws to stay up (going by recent seasons), and we are fast running out of winnable games. If we lose to Brum, then we are looking getting a fluke result at a side heading in the opposite direction, which is possible, but highly unlikely. There could be a lot riding on next weekend.

We are not in a "relegation battle" and Val will be our manager at the start of next season. So stop 5hitting yourselves and enjoy the new wilderness years

If you look at my posts in the thread for the last game I clearly said right from the beginning that both players were at fault and that Bachmann was "panicky"and "he shouldn't have rushed out so far" from his goal (but that I thought Andrews was still more to blame and that it was bizarre some posters were overlooking his part in the incident).

I only made the posts a few days ago, so unless you have the memory of a goldfish I can only presume you are purposefully misrepresenting what I said, which is simply pathetic. And shame on @wfcwarehouse @Jumbolina and @Lloyd for sucking up your fabricated crap.

Are you sure that you are correct? I have just asked our chef. He said he would throw a wobbly if you used the term Scotch. Told me it was an insult.

We are on the very edge of a relegation battle. Right now, you can get great odds on us going down.

Recently, it's been a hard watch and ***** results.

What a difference a good first half performance didn't make.

How skint are we for Val to still be here? Or have those above just forgotten about their toy that has gone to pot?

Presumably you can get long odds on us going down because the bookies don't think we will. I have found they don't get it wrong too often

Bachmann was rash for the penalty and Porteous turned his back on the ball when Wright shot - unmarked .

It's the same old thing I've said over and over. Why do defenders turn their backs? It's simply baffling.

Very good thirty minutes, completely ****ed it by bringing on Bayo and moving Dennis. Martins for Dennis and he’d probably still have his job. Bye Val.

I still don't think we'll go down, even with only one more point all season.

But then again I had a feeling we'd win today, and look how that turned out

I have no desire to get into a back and forth over this but when I saw ETG’s initial post I thought his point was general, not aimed at you. Apologies.

Nobody will be shocked to hear the news that Val has bitten the dust. In fact, the only surprise is that it took Pozzo this long to ditch him. Pozzo’s failure to end Val’s disastrous reign sooner means we are in a relegation battle – as I have been predicting we would be for many weeks. Make no mistake slipping in to the third tier of English football is a very real possibility unless the interim manager or next ‘permanent’ appointment can get our clearly broken team working again. But with some ominous-looking fixtures coming thick and fast between now and the end of the season, this will be no easy task. These are dark times indeed
