    I wouldn't be against getting rid of VI, but only if they bring in someone with a view to assessing the squad and starting to prep for next season. We all know that won't happen though.

    A manager like Scott Parker or Lampard is just the sort of manager you could see Gino going for in the way he can’t resist signing players like Ashley Fletcher, years after they played for a good team, but despite all evidence since that they’re just awful at what they do.

    Suspect it was the usual 1yr with a further years option.

    And they’ve probably added a year (maybe two) with the extension.

    Was said to me yesterday that the only reason they (Duxbury/Giaretta) extended it was to make it harder/expensive for Gino to sack him on a whim.

    Tbf to him, he's done alright so far as head coach. Nobody of even his calibre would want to enter the Pozzo Circus. What Gino would want is another "yes man" who has little to no say in the tiny amount of movement we get in the windows, accepts bargain bin dross from Bayat as replacements and is prepared for the sack in a few months. That sort of head coach is very hard to find, but amazingly we continue to find them.

    Georgi one maybe .

    The biggest problem for Val or whoever is in change next season will be having to deal with a much weaker and maybe small squad but meeting the expectations of some fans in terms of playing style and the owner .

    Well probably although think some liked Wilfer for speaking out about the club/squad.

    I think Ismael’s way of playing has been criticised a lot whereas last season for example it was more the players blamed .
